The draft is a speculative auction. You cant call this as s**t when he hasn't even played yet, let alone learned his craft.

Can I just say - He's endurance, skill and speed is absolutely elite.
His contested possession is supreme.
He'll need to build his strength, he's not going to rake up 30 disposals a game. But he'll have 10-12 possessions, win contested possessions at pivotal moments in matches and snag a goal here or there when we need someone to STEP UP.

Agreed. Rioli is more riskier, but his upside is way better than the other draftees around our selection IMO. Our club has been very good with developing players over the last 4-5 years and I'm confident in the club to get the best out of him. It may be better to go for a player with a huge upside in a weak draft like this than to go for a vanilla player.

You my friend overrate draft picks.
He looks like a good young kid, Cyril was a risk too when first taken with Hawthorn, and he turned out awesome. Even if Daniel turns out to be only half as good as that, we'll have a ripper!
