In 1979 Fitzroy defeated Melbourne by 190 points. Is that record in danger of being beaten this weekend? Or will Geelong reserve their energy and just cruise to a comfortable 100 point victory? Should be interesting.

I'm hoping with all this negative press that the Demons decide to go the biff.

St Kilda play Geelong in round 4 so a few suspensions and concussions out of the game would be handy. :thumbsu:

GO DEES! :D

We will be on the end of a few more 100 point drubbings this year, and its possible the Cats will beat us by 200

But it will all be worth it when Cale Morton leads us to a flag in a few years time

All these beltings are helping Dean Bailey identify who wants to move forward with the MFC, and who has a peaheart and can ____ off elsewhere

For that reason it will be a completely new look MFC in 2009. In fact after about round 10 of this year, you wont see the names Robertson, Yze, bruce, Green and White in a Demon team ever again

Actually could be kinda interesting - three days of rain & showers from tommorrow and fine with a top of 21 on Saturday. Get a bit of wind on the day at Skilled and I'm thinking "Under 39.5" could be an extremely attractive option.

If it was at Telstra, yeah, another 100+ points - but out in the open should be a bit different. The Demons list isn't actually as bad as we are making out.

Way to ruin a troll with a sincere response! This is bay 13 for god's sake.

agree with the hawks supporter.

I would type your name, but it would take too long.

Skilled will be windy, and with the expected weather.. slippery. Skilled is easy-ish to flood. 6 or 7 goal win i reckon.

Predict the margin

Big game this week between Melbourne and Geelong, we could have the biggest margin ever.

Will Jesus return this weekend? Because nothing else can save the Demons but our saviour.

By the way, I didn't put the poll thingy on here? Didn't know you could do that to someone elses thread. There you go.

I made the poll, and the mods merged it with this thread.

I think it is fair and balanced.

But it will all be worth it when Cale Morton leaves us to take West Coast to a flag in a few years time

We'll win and I'll spend all Sunday night digging up every thread that has crapped on Melbourne since 2000.

I agree, would love to see that. Was something that used to happen on a regular basis years ago. :thumbsu:
