Bit of difference structurally and what you need to consider is that opposition teams have devised a successful gameplan against our midfield to limit them getting the ball on the outside to our damaging runners.Interesting is our side really much worse than this side which played so fantastically well last season in the finals.

As for this year some players not highlighted by you that have had little impact due to injury are Carrazzo, Duigan and Yarran which would mean 8 players in the highlighted bracket, you cant win with 8 players basically not there who are replaced by players with less ability.
Oh and Judd has been well down on top of all that.
So my answer is it is totally different to the team from that final in terms of personnel, form, roles, structure and opposition tactics against us!
Quite right Clay, I did forget themDon't forget Walker, Jamison and Warnock having interupted or non-existent pre-seasons. .. Plus we've also had short term injuries to Scotland and Henderson during our slump period. ..
Not really in terms of missing personel. But as you know we rely more heavily on stars (we don't want to go there again). The loss of Murph and Carrots (in his 2012 form) was massive for us. It is now only Murph but whether Juddy can perform w/o him (and whether that is the reason for Juddy's demise) is still to be seen. No Murph and no Juddy contribution hurts us more than taking Pendles and Swan out of Woods or Selwood and Bartel out of Cats. The reason, once again, is covered in other threadsInteresting is our side really much worse than this side which played so fantastically well last season in the finals.
