3 - Fremantle - Daniel Rich
4 - Port Adelaide - Tyrone Vickery
5 - Essendon - Steele Sidebottom
6 - Carlton - Jack Ziebell
7 - Brisbane - Hamish Harlett
8 - Richmond - Sam Blease
9 - North Melbourne - Tom Swift

14 - Western Bulldogs - Ayce Cordy

This guy will definatly not go this high
Given that he would be a father/son selection for the Bulldogs he might HAVE to go that high to ensure that they secure him.

Cordy HAS to go that high mate, the Doggies bidded their 1st round pick for him under the F/S rule.

Gee I hope Blease falls lower than that, but I doubt it.

If this was not a funny joke, I would suggest you do some quick research as others have pointed out.

Clearly it was a joke, I do argee though, it was a sh!t one

We take 2 with our first 2 picks every time.

Always Johnstone, then either shoenmakers cahill or cornelius

we don't have many young forwards though...tippett, sellar, hetschel, walker

Yeah, and we seem to keep getting mids...

Ignore that the club has said we have to focus on improving our KF & ruck stocks, and that we've taken at least 1 big guy in the first 2 rounds each year since Wallace arrived.

I can see us taking one mid, particularly with pick 8, as mids look likely to be clearly the 'best available' there ( although I think Johnston & Trengove will be in the mix ), but no way will we take 2 mids from 2.

I reckon some of the highly rated KPP's could fall to the second round. The depth in this section is a lot better than that of the midfield group I believe, therefore clubs will be jumping to secure who they thought was the '2nd best mid in the draft' (after Rich)

he's far from slow though.

It's rare I agree with an eagles supporter but you are right Matt is not slow.
He also gets lots of the ball and if there are doubts about his kicking that can be worked on and improved. Very solid citizen as well.:
He is a good chance to be picked in the first round in my opinion.:thumbsu:

Good effort, I reckon you'll be very close. Great work.

But IMO I'd have Freo going Suban at 21 and O'Keefe at 24.

De Boer going to Richmond at 26, and Zaharakis to Brisbane at 25.

Pretty good from a Melbourne perspective except im not sure that we would take 2 midfields with 17-19. I suppose there isnt really another standout forward with Cornelius seemingly not very popular. If that did happen we would surely draft Cahill/Liam Jones or someone to compliment watts.

If the first round pans out as you have it then I would be very happy if the cats picked up McKernan. With Hawkins we would be right for young tall forwards for a while (also have Scott Simpson developing nicely).

With our second pick I could see us take Broadbent or a Strauss if things went our way. A mobile, skilled half bank flanker would address the loss of Milburn in the next year or two.

Have Ranga with our last pick to draw on to add to our midfield stocks.

I've had Post in my top 40 for a while, ever since his final game of the TAC Cup. Just interesting, not saying you are one of them, but plenty of people are getting on board with him after seeing that one 3 minute clip on YouTube.
I am one of those. Hadn't seen or heard too much of him.
He certainly showed good hands, agility and an aptitude to have a run from the backline.
Would love to have him under Hawks tutelage for a couple of seasons.
