I was very happy also when I think BT and Carey said that Larkey has a bit of a young Drew Petrie about him.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees him that way, his build is eerily similar

Well done Nick, not only some nice marking, tackling, and goal kicking, but also competed in quite a few Ruck contests as well, which would be tiring for a young fella playing only his 3rd game, ( with the emphasis on competed and not winning, yet ), one of my highlights from this game easily.

I loved how he was in amongst it when there were little dust ups. I mean, I know flying the flag is crap, but I enjoyed that aspect of his game.

No bigger indictment on the coaching panel than the fact this bloke has managed 3 senior games in 3 years on the list.

Not so for me. He came in three years ago as a late pick, skinny as anything, and no where near ready to play AFL. They've done a great job in developing him.

Played angry last night, and it was fantastic to see. I’ve worried about whether he will make it at times but if he brings that intensity and desire to win the football and compete around the ground he’ll be more than ok.

He had some leading patterns that looked great in what was overall a poor performance entry and forward wise.

Wait until he has played a significant number of games where he and brown work together to gel and increase space for each other. Can only benefit both of them
