Will 9 ever get rid of this complete and utter bullsh1t? It's ****ing discgraceful and arguably worse than today tonight and aca put together. The topics they come up with get more ridiculous by the week, then to make matters worse they get z grade celebreties to make comments. I can't believe Bert Newton agrees to even host it.
Whoever the far.k decided that the show is good must have the intelligence of a 2 year old, or no intelligence at all.

To me it's just like the stuff you would talk with your mates down the pub about. Minus the sport, expletive language and alcohol. I agree though the show is absouloute sh1t and should be abolished, i really really hate the B grade celebrities commenting on stuff that happened before they were born "Oh well i watched it once on the news"

After reading A Clockwork Orange, Now when I think of this show I think of the quote "A malenky bit of 'milk-plus' would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of dirty 'twenty-to-one' "

It's good light entertainment and great for a laugh or two. Depends on the subject of course.

I agree some of the people making the comments are cringeworthy ,eg Deni Hines.

I like a few of the themes, ie. the sporting ones, bloopers, political themed ones, but anything else is just cringeworthy. A good episode is a good trip of nostalgia however.

I thought the show 'what a year' which aired a few years back was better than 20-1 also, was a nice dose of nostalgia.

I don't mind it. Will watch if there's nothing else on, though I do tend to cringe at the obviously scripted comments the 'personalities' provide.

It is a good show to watch just to have a laugh. You don't need to take is seriously - the problem is they are running out of topics. It is a show you don't need to think about or concentrate on..........it is better than most of the rubbish on right now.

Some of the comments are entertaining (James Brayshaw is always amusing) but others I want to punch in the head (Deni Hines.......agree, the girl from Temptation).

well channel 9 are doing an australian version of that Wipeout program so it's doubtful they'll get rid of 20 to 1. In fact after having seen the ad for the wipeout program I think we'll be pleading for Bert and his merry band to come back.
Would be funnier if they got rid of most of the commentators on the segments. Particularly deni hines.

It's a very good concept IMO. The early episodes were great, i.e. events that stopped the world, one hit wonders, and Australia's greatest sporting moments etc.

However the topics now are just crap. Things like fads, crazy customs, female movie stars, mistakes and madness etc.

I agree the "celebrities" are just cringe-worthy. Some of them are decent and offer some sort of insight such as Peter FitzSimons, Pete Berner, and Michael Gudinski.

However, most of the channel 9 personalities are just embarrassing: Tracy Grimshaw (who must think she is there to do her comedy routine), Ben Dark, Rowntree et al. Scott Cam is no doubt the most annoying man on TV atm (closely followed by Kenny - how people could find him funny I will never understand).

It also annoys the hell out of me when they start commenting on events that happened before they were born as if they were there.

Haha I came on here to say the same thing. Go back to performing at RSLs Deni - she is atrocious (yet featured on every episode for some reason ).

She is closely followed by Ricki-Lee though. I remember her commenting on some female actor or singer "why is she still famous?" I am still laughing.

When they have a good topic on [once every 15 episodes],do what I do - tape it and then you can fast forward through the bogan ch9 celebs,hasbeen celebs [Deni Hines,Tottie ...etc],Idol and BB rejects comments.

Whoever stayed to the end of that one deserved a medal.

After the first 10 movie quotes were butched over and over again by Scott Cam, Tracy Grimshaw, Deni Hynes et al I had had enough.

That was such a croc, for a start information of a poll isn't propper info. And what exactly makes a song "gay"? The rich list is GAY!
