This thread is where all the picks for the 2004 BigFooty Phantom Draft will be made. In this top post, all picks will be listed and all recruiting managers named.

Please be as quick as possible with your selections. Be mindful that there are over 70 picks to get through by Friday, and that others will be watching and waiting. I hope to get around 20 picks a day done, which should have us finishing on Thursday arvo.

I ask that we keep this thread to pure selections. Any questions or comments can be made on the other thread to prevent any confusion. You will find the rules there, so please, if you haven't read them, do so.

Not wanting to step on McLeod23's toes... but I might as well get this thing moving.

Pick 8: Angus Monfries (Sturt)

(It's the obvious choice anyway.)

I'll cop that, we need to get things moving. Carlton's up!

damn i woulda picked monfries.

carlton pick 9 Ryan Willits St Marys/Northern

Ryan Willits

197.3cm
99.9 kg (His skin folds are okay but he could possibly lose a couple of kg) to help his agility and aerobic capacity.

Top 75% for agility test which is not bad for a man his size who can look to lack mobility at times on the field.

Top 52% for Beep test with 13.1. Not bad carrying 100kg

Interesting his splits in the sprint went....

5 m top 40%
10 m top 67%
20 m top 77%. (3.02 secs) So he takes awhile to get up and going but goes okay in a straight line over some distance.

He didn't run the 3klm due to calf injury.

17. St Kilda. Ruory Kirkby - Bendigo Pioneers

Thanks Jon

As I'm generally not online during the day and no nothing about the upcoming draftees I didn't nominate myself as the St Kilda recruiter.

No means no Brett. :p
