ah greg miller the king of bull **** roping in the gullible supporters.thats what i like to think anyway. but i am just a wee bit concerned he actually believed it himself.
that would confirm he doesnt have a good grasp of where we are at.something ive always thought anyway.

Good article by Miller. The change at the club over the last 12 months has been fantastic but let's remember we were that close to down-and-out then it wasn't funny.

All I hope for next season is that we consolidate both on and off field, with no major dramas. This year our record was 10 wins, 12 losses and 92.33%. If we can achieve 11:11 and 100% next year I will be very happy and, if we can make the eight, ecstatic!
Well we did get 11:11 but our percentage was RS at only 86.15%. Those 100 point floggings tend to do that :(

Our off-field improvement has been fantastic. Stable board and coaching staff, healthy profits, infrastructure improvements underway etc. These are good signs but, as shown by Collingwood, do not automatically guarantee on-field success. A lot more hard work and further development is yet to be done.

In 2007 I'd be more than happy if we get 11:11 or better and get over 100%. The last time we did this was in 2001 when we made the finals and ended up with 16:9 and 101.14%.

just on healthy profits. we were 5.2 mil in debt in 04. miller was one of the reasons why we ran that debt up.and headed a footy dept that went way over budget.he even blackmailed supporters into retaining that same board.

steven wright ceo said he hopes for a 1mil profit this yr and hopes to have the debt down to 3.5 mil by the end of 07. to my way of thinking this still means we have a debt of 4.7 mil atm.i would not call the last couple of yrs a period of healthy profits. more like a slightly better than break even scenario.at least we are going in the right direction now.

Agreed Santa. We are moving in the right direction and have learnt to budget and spend according to our means....... thanks to Wright and co.

We all need to put those bad years behind us and focus on the future. Profit and debt are not strictly related so a debt level of $3.5 million at end 2007, if achieved, would be a huge achievement. It would mean we have been reducing debt by an average of arond $500,000 - 600,000 pa. At the same time we are spending money on badly needed improvements at Punt Road(over and above the grants) and increasing our footy operations budget(again badly needed). As the debt reduces obviously so does the interest burden. Basically our total liabilities are now becoming manageable and our facilities/assets are increasing in value. In short we are no longer a cot case. Therefore the club is free to concentrate on the main game again, building a finals competitive team.

Miller's an idiotic buffoon. Zero idea on corporate governance matters either. Just like dog Casey

Pick 8 - "superstar". Hmmmm.

Should we not be top 4 at least twice in the next 5 years, it's significantly his fault.

No one's perfect, but Michael Pahoff's bad reputation is well-deserved.
couldnt disagree more. michael pahoff got of his arse and in the only way he knew how brought to the notice of tiger fans how rotten and inept the casey regime was. if things continued as they were we wouldnt have a club now.
instead of being abused he should be praised for doing something about a very sad chapter in our history.

i also know michael is very involved in many aspects of the club and is in pretty tight with miller when it comes to recruiting.i dont agree with everything pahoff says but a more passionate tiger supporter you will not find anywhere. he put his head on the chopping block literally for his club because he believed it the right thing to do. he was vilified victimised character asasinated and deliberately belittled by the club but stuck to his guns would you do the same.

His petition was ill-advised, and harmed the club in many ways. Since then he has sought the limelight as much as possible, although he has tempered his criticism of the club. He even publicly put his name forward to be the new head of recruiting prior to Francis Jackson's appointment. He is certainly passionate, but is driven by a big ego and overblown self-importance.He also bears grudges.

People tell me that Miller thinks he's a bit of a fool, and not to be taken seriously, although he does appreciate his passion and enthusiasm and is prepared to tolerate his recruiting overtures for the general goodwill of the club.

I don't think Pahoff is a bad person, just someone carried away by a desperate need to be "somebody".

Time for the players and coaching staff to stop talking and preaching and start ****ing winning!

I'm sick to death of all this ****ing crap.

****ING DO SOMETHING -NO MORE ****ING 5 YEAR PLANS-WE ALREADY HAVE HAD 20 OF THEM FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STOP SWANNING AROUND LIKE ROCK STARS AND DO SOMETHING!

whoever pulled this ol chestnut out of the bag - good work - GOLD

I'm starting to think that perhaps we have the 2 biggest bull **** artists in the AFL looking after our club in wallace and miller. Too many words and not enough custard - our rebuilding process CANNOT be behind Brisbanes, carltons, hawthorns, Geelongs, Port Adelaides, Collingwoods. All of these clubs havent felt the need to speak about "this is our year" then when that year approachs " oh, actually in a few more years is our year."

Is wallace coaching for survival? he left the dogs with every players, commitee man and supporter convinced he was selfish - were they right? I hope not, but im sick to death of the deception. if its about where we are, heading, or injuries - its all lies, lies, lies

can you tell me how his petition harmed the club. i can only see good that came from it.
the reason pahoff raised his petition was because of debt we were going broke and being lied to left right and centre. his petition forced some openness and bought to light all the shonky going ons.
