Hey guys, gradually I have put together this main draft source so it's easier for me and others to refer back to info about the draft and it's potential draftees. It's been available to my fellow Essendon supporters for a while but I thought some of you people from bigfooty would appreciate it.

Wondering why the AFL changed the draft order. On 17/9/08 I printed off the Draft selection order after the first 4 teams were eliminated frrom the Finals. The order then was: 9: Collingwood, 10: North Melbourne, 11: Sydney, 12: Adelaide.

In the Herald-Sun today (6/10) and on this site the draft order has changed. Any explanation?

I would just asume what you got first was wrong, there was no way Collingwood would get a pick before Adelaide after they made it futher in the finals

That first order you said was the order before the finals, the 2nd order was after the finals.

I've read all about the top picks for the Draft just wondering what your thoughts on another play who I feel should be in amongst them.

He is.

Jeffrey Garlett 19yrs Swan Districts FC.
Leading Goal Kicker this year with 32 Goals.
Averaged 2-3 Goals per game.
Davey like build. speed to burn.
Positions Played: Wing, Ctre, HFF,FP.
Freak in front of goals.
Good making skills reads the play very well.

Saw him play against Peak at Steel Blue Oval left Peak gasping for air.
Allister Pickett said he is very hard to play on as he has sometimes left him standing sucking in air while it looked as if Garlett hadn;t even broken a sweat.

His mother is a sister of Buddy Franklin's mother,
other blood lines include:
