this is why the strategy of picking good rookies works out, you end up with guys ie Hendo and Jaenschy getting elevated who are far and away better players than anyone you'd get from pick 61 -->

As I am sure you know, AC, this is just the official order of picks. We can only use as many picks as we have vacancies on our list, and Vader has pointed out that is currently 5 (counting the one used for the already announced Henderson upgrade). So unless we delist someone else (unlikely) the transcript will be:

Considering we'll likely take 2 players at most, I hardly think it will. We'll likely just pick up youngsters, like always though we might look at picking a few mature agers through our rookie list.

I wouldn't read too much into it .... just yet. Odds are that they haven't updated the player profiles since the end of the season, noting that all of these players received mid-season promotions.

That said, I would not be the least bit surprised to see these 3 given the nod ahead of Thompson, who could quite easily be our "nominated rookie" should we choose to use him as such.

Note that many teams will be exhausting their selections by pick #61, so #118 will probably be around pick #80 in reality.
