Like someone said above... He's playing like Tippett last year FFS. The thing about Roo is once he starts clicking I reckon he can start pumping out the massive scores... Problem is, with the form the Saints are in will he even start clicking this year??

doesnt matter now, he has screwed the coaches that got him from the start. not only is he getting rubbish scores at the moment when he finally starts doin something he will be so cheap the coaches that didnt have him can just pick him up with ease.

So if you picked him at the start of the year you have lost with him.

2142, Sandi cost me, had Selwood. Not having one of Tapscott/Matera on field instead of Knights/Darling + Grimes 14 didn't help, also Broughton. Much to think about. Still haven't won a league game

Happy with that considering I ignored the Sandy captain option and had Grimes.

Not complaining though as I didnt have Curnow...slightly levels the luck playing field and takes his overall average down to low 80s.

Finished on 2098.

Should've had Duigan on the field not the bench, Montagna was good given I expected him not to play, Riewoldt was rubbish. I fear he's dropped too much for me to trade him now.

Won my league games this week so I suppose that's good consolation for the low score.

CREEPY THING THOUGH.... using fanfooty, i subtracted my emergencies scores and added the players actual scores and guess what

2072....bugger, i'll dropping right out of the top 5k now.

Grimes & Curnow hurt, as did having Suckling, S.Johnson and Higgins out on top of Swan/Pendles.

Toy, Stanley and N.Riewoldt spudded it up.

Biggest screw up was under my own control though. Sandi (VC)....Fyfe (C)...ouch.

That has cost me 3 league games, i lost all of them by less than 50 points

OK score has adjusted to 2200 which I'm reasonably happy with given that I had Curnow, should have had Matera on the field instead of Darling/Riewoldt but hindsight is a wonderful thing especially in fantasy football!

Happens every year though with different players. He's currently in about 40% of teams and i can only imagine it would have been a lot higher pre-round 1.

But there will be people that have had Montagna, Hodge, Selwood, Didak, Bruce, O'Keefe, Ablett etc who've all dropped a considerable amount too, there is a lot of players that will drop every year that you'll be able to pick up on the cheap. I'm sure someone looking to bring in Riewoldt on the cheap will have a Didak or any other of one of the above.

That includes Grimes (14) & Curnow (12) with Matera (94) on the bench while Roo (63) & Darling (60) were on the pitch. I have Swan and possibly Rioli coming back next week whihc will be helpful.

Before Grimes & Curnow was looking at possibly 2300+ but alas t'wasn't to be.

Almost had Didak pre-round 1. Was put off by the injury concerns. Could probably get him in 2-3 weeks in a straight swap for Darling if he starts showing a bit next week.

2126 in the end. Could've been 2300+ but had Grimes, Curnow and Fyfe all injured, Toy as the starting sub and Harris, Smith, Tapscott and Matera scoring 423 all up on the bench.

Also, a nice game in my Demonland league: I was 13th without a win, my opponent was third without a loss, I win by one point.

2299. Had I. Smith (102), Z. Smith (111) and D. Harris (114) all on the mutha f**** bench! Would've (could've, should've) pushed 2400 otherwise.

Won 2, lost 1 and drew the other - the first time I've seen, let alone been in one.

I know there's every chance of it biting me in the butt (like Goodes last year), but Roo's on the chopping block this week.

Judd was a little disappointing as captain. I must be one of the few without Curnow so that didn't hurt me although Knights did, one good score in 6 isn't getting the job done might be time to upgrade. Happy to welcome back Swan and Pendles next week.

So much for 2400+ Rooey and Curnow saw to that. Lost my major league by six points to a team that didn't have Grimes or Curnow...damn that hurts.

Ended up with 2249.
