I love the first round picks for the Vikings. The team addressed two of their biggest needs with Kalil and Smith and can look at WR and CB tomorrow.

WR and CB are deep so there will definitely be some value to be had IMO.

BRING ON ROUND TWO!! :thumbsu:

Currently the Vikings don't have a second round pick, but with Vikings having: a Third (pick 66), 4 Fourth round picks (98, 118, 128, 134), 2 Fifth round picks (138, 139), a Sixth (175), and three Seventh round picks (210, 211, 223) I'd expect them to move up into the 2nd round at some stage.

At first I was annoyed with the Packers taking Perry, but now I'm loving the pick. Moving him from DE to OLB opposite Matthews and I think that this kid could become a very good pass rusher. Now we do need a pass rushing DE in the second, expecting to trade up this round.

Pissing off the seventh round picks would be something I expect the Vikes to offload.. in saying that, wonder how many picks the Vikes are willing to offload to get back into the second or maybe another third?

They could package up their 3rd and two tradeable 4th rounders to get to the middle of the 2nd, but I can't see that happening. As I said the next two big needs for the Vikings (WR and CB) are deep so they can probably afford to wait until late in the 3rd and maybe swing a deal where they trade down in the third and exchange a couple of their 4th for a late second rounder.

Another scenario is they'll try a get another mid round third.

EDIT: my post meant to say "As I said the next two big needs for the Vikings (WR and CB) are deep so they can probably afford to wait until late in the 2nd"
