Experts were all over the place for tackle rankings this year it seems.
Give them a break

If they were any good, they'd be hired by the teams themselves :p

I can't defend that pick.

Guess it just comes down to us not rating the WRs available, or we have some later players targeted like McNutt or Green. Same story with the CBs.

I have no idea who Hughes is. But we did need a DT. Last year Schaefering played just as much as Taylor. I'm sure people will call it a failed draft though, even though just one hour has passed and there is nothing to go on but pre draft grades.

I'm pretty sure they'd make more money in their current guise.

Kinne? Coleman? Harnish? and to a lessar degree Foles?
All above Moore on Kiper's QB Draft board?

Just shows what these "experts" really are.
Guys who have no clue, because if they did, they'd be pro scouts
.

Networks offer a little more money than any team ever could.

Some Really good value picks i liked

Ravens - Upshaw
Rams - Jenkins
Lions - Bowles
49ers - Lamichael James (They do have alot of RB's)

Really hope my cowboys get Kellen Moore in 5th - 7th round. Really like the kid.

Marshall and Jeffrey in the red-zone is gonna be a party. A good pick for the Bears I reckon.

Speaking of such.. I've taken into reviewing the Round ONE mocks

2012mockevaluations.jpg

From the AP committee & NFL.com Network

The Associated Press nailed FOUR to the right team but only scored 22 overall.

Resident BF draft guru, Catters078 giving ESPN's Mel Kiper Jnr a good run for his money..

Our BF Mock draft somewhat fared the worst of all mocks... NONE in exact spots... thanx DB.. :o TWO going to the right team and 22 drafted from the 32. Passable..

....
Josh Robinson - Central Florida - 66 (Minnesota)
....

at least I got one of my picks right in the draft competition

--DL--
Akiem Hicks (DT) - University of Regina #232

Didn't see the Saints' third round selection (DE Akiem Hicks) coming that early.. ...OUCH!!

so much for reading too much into the WEAKNESS' of the NFL.com summaries..

Hicks can get overwhelmed at the point of attack against double teams, and he doesn't have many moves in his arsenal to counter.

Quite happy with San Diegos draft (and off season overall) Very happy actually. Some are saying AJ smith has moved from San diego to Seattle for the draft:p

Melvin Ingram in the 1st fills a big need at pass rush, pair him with Shawn Phillips, Antawn Barnes and Jarret Johnson from the ravens and im really happy with our line backing core.

I really like the pick of Kendall Reyes DT connecticut at 49 to jump on the defensive line with Cory Liuget and Luis Castillo next season.

I havent read too much about the LSU safety Brandon Taylor, but to move up to get him and adress a big need at safety is a great pick up. From reports ive read after the pick says hes good value at that pick

IN the 4th round im keeping my eyes on Massie, Ronnell Lewis and Jared Crick..Really hope we can find a way to get one of those and it would be a great draft. Lamar Miller is also still there..He may be a good pick up as we no longer have much depth at Running back.

Great work chargers!
