Raiders, Chiefs, Broncos getting better.

Broncos will get one, maybe two more years out of Peyton Manning. Brock Osweiler is not the answer, either.

Chiefs have Matt Cassell. Enough said.

Raiders, nope.

Ooh, big hit. Doesn't look good.

Holy F@#.... that did not look good at all!! Man, hope his neck is okay....and at worst it is a concussion.
Edit: He is up...just got stunned it seems. Could have been nasty though.

That was huge wasnt it!

Looks ok now though.

Flacco beautiful pass, Smith TD.

It belies belief that the Browns spent a first round pick on Weeden.

I was just about to post the same thing?

I actually liked him at college but he is not going to make it is he? and when i say make it be a quality QB at this level

I hated the pick at the time and I still hate it. The Browns have a heap of holes that the Weeden pick could have serviced. I feel some sense of sympathy with Browns fans because they have a reasonable defence.

The whole world knew the Browns would be a 3-4 win max team this year. That would have given them a shot at the #1 and their choice of elite QB talent coming out.

The alternative was to go another year with a QB that the organisation did not feel was good enough to start in the NFL. Give Weeden a bit more time he does throw some really nice balls also watch how often the Cleveland recievers drop the ball. My biggest fault with him at the moment is that he is a statue in the pocket and that he dosen't/wont throw the ball away when he is under pressure. I think he will always be the type of QB that throws his fair share of INT's hopefuly he throws some TD's as well.

See my post to SAU explaining why I disliked the Weeden pick and subsequent reasoning Sticks.

Really nice drive, particularly the Greg Little pass.

Our biggest hole was at QB
Not that I disagree, but drafting a 28 year old rookie to fill that need in the first round seems to be a reach. He's 4 games into his NFL career so perhaps it should be left to unfold.

Weeden's biggest advantage is he has a special RB to hand the football off too.
