I have taken the risk with him
It's a high risk high reward type scenario
So if Shaw and O'Keefe come back for Round 2, who do you see giving way?I've got Cunningham, backed him to play four or five games early on. Reckon if Mitchell can get himself fit, he might be a good mid-season rookie to pick up.
Whats his role this year ? Has been playing from a wing in the practice matches?

During the preseason he was mostly playing his usual role pushing out of defense...
But when Shaw, Mattner and Armstrong are fully fit expect to see him playing further up the ground a fair bit more.
That would mean diminished scoring ability........i'm seriously questioning him now.
Anyone ballsy enough to go with Kieren Jack? He returned to his best last night and I can see him going on with it for the rest of the year

How would more midfield time diminish he's scoring ?

I also have Parker and McDonald. You probably heard my scream of NOOOOOOOOOOooooo!!! when the hit happened.
The only upside is that Parker gets an extra week to get over the injury. He was looking in fine form and I have no doubt that he will come back firing. I hope the red vest he copped was more to do with the injury rather than a sign of things to come when he is fit.
Sydney fans? What's the likelihood of him copping many vests this year?
Now, I just need to make sure that I pick 2 mid rookies who will play the first 2 weeks.
Won't get many vests, Longmire stated that the club pretty much forced the vest on parker out of fear of more injury.. Think someone like a Jetta/Rohan etc will get the vest a fair bit.. Someone Longmire wants to get out there, run their ass*s off and get as many quick possies as possible..
NB: Parker is still a very slim chance to play against Freo, depending on how the injury heals up and how Parks is feeling next week, Longmire stated that the Swans won't take any chances though..
Anyone know what's the deal with Mumford... I heard he wroke up with pains in his back?
Are these surprise LATE OUTs likely to occur going forward?
Can anyone please tell me who was, and when he was, substituted for Hannebery against Fremantle?
Cheers in advance!
