I've got Cunningham, backed him to play four or five games early on. Reckon if Mitchell can get himself fit, he might be a good mid-season rookie to pick up.
So if Shaw and O'Keefe come back for Round 2, who do you see giving way?

Whats his role this year ? Has been playing from a wing in the practice matches?

During the preseason he was mostly playing his usual role pushing out of defense...

But when Shaw, Mattner and Armstrong are fully fit expect to see him playing further up the ground a fair bit more.

That would mean diminished scoring ability........i'm seriously questioning him now.

Any love for benny mcglynn? his at a dangerous price range, but first half of last year he started off very well.. and had a good pre season this year, only thing that is concerning is the bloody sub rule!!!

thoughts?

Unless he gets injured, McGlynn won't be in any way effected by the sub rule.

anyone else filthy with James McDonald? Parker was BOG when he took him out, set for a huge ton. I only had Junior on the bench, and now he'll get weeks (if there is any justice) screwing up the start of my supercoach season.

Yep, ****ed me up completely (Not that it's the main issue, this this is a SC/DT thread).

Does that mean Cunningham will start against Fremantle?

Anyone ballsy enough to go with Kieren Jack? He returned to his best last night and I can see him going on with it for the rest of the year

I had him... Downgraded him to Parker so I could use the money elsewhere... (Didn't want two Swans starting in the midfield) (After I told my mates they should get on Jack this year as well...)

Have a bit of egg on my face right now...

Think Jack might be a bit up and down, but a good unique pick if you do get him.

I also have Parker and McDonald. You probably heard my scream of NOOOOOOOOOOooooo!!! when the hit happened.

The only upside is that Parker gets an extra week to get over the injury. He was looking in fine form and I have no doubt that he will come back firing. I hope the red vest he copped was more to do with the injury rather than a sign of things to come when he is fit.

Sydney fans? What's the likelihood of him copping many vests this year?

Now, I just need to make sure that I pick 2 mid rookies who will play the first 2 weeks.

Won't get many vests, Longmire stated that the club pretty much forced the vest on parker out of fear of more injury.. Think someone like a Jetta/Rohan etc will get the vest a fair bit.. Someone Longmire wants to get out there, run their ass*s off and get as many quick possies as possible..

NB: Parker is still a very slim chance to play against Freo, depending on how the injury heals up and how Parks is feeling next week, Longmire stated that the Swans won't take any chances though..

Thanks Ice, that's good to hear. He was killing it early on Sat night - reading the taps like a book!

Anyone know what's the deal with Mumford... I heard he wroke up with pains in his back?

Are these surprise LATE OUTs likely to occur going forward?

you know as much as us Prompts. In fact more, if last year's SC results are anything to go by. Cost me about 100 points as I didn't see it coming and didn't put the E on Giles. I imagine it caught quite a few of us out.

But if you're asking if the swans like to play cloak and dagger games with their named team I'd say no - not as a rule. The cats pulling the Big O on Monday - that was almost certainly due to the conditions and I dont think the swans would've done that with their personel. Certainly not with Mummy. If he's fit he's in the team, simple as that.
