for sure. If only we had depth in our young spinners and opening batsman like we do with our fast bowlers!
Boyce was good in 20-20's and Doherty is solid, but young depth is weak.

What's with the ridiculous high camera shots as the ball is being bowled sometimes?
FFS - absolutely stupid. How could a producer even think that was worth a try? Idiots!

Once the likes of Siddle, harris and Johsnon retire it's going to be interesting how the selectors fit all of Cummins, Starc, Pattinson, Hazelwood and others into the test side. We might end up having just an all out pace attack.

Really gives the viewers a great insight into the length of the bowlers run up.

FFS between the commentators, not one knew what sans meant and now Tubby has had it explained to him he thinks it's some sort of twitter abbreviation.

In the space of a couple of years Steve Smith has gone from project spinner with a batting technique ill-suited to test cricket, let alone one-day cricket to the most likely candidate for the Australian Test captain (an office that was famously described as being only second to the Prime Minister in importance in this country) and one of the most reliable batsmen in Australian cricket. It's been a remarkable story and journey. He really is a fantastic cricketer these days.

i was overly critical when he first got called up as a test batsman. never thought he'd make it. Is very patient, and has a lot of tricks. He can literally put the ball anywhere on the field. Credit to himself!

probably one of the best one sayers I've seen from a batting perspective, not huge hitting but skilfully working the ball and keeping the run rate ticking over.
Bevan and ponting were masters of it.
