Give ya points for being a fan but seriously Richmond 4th I mean wtf ? they only made back to back finals last back in 1973/4 didn't they ?
and realistically Freo aren't a given to even make the 8 themselves given their history. Saints won't finish last and I expect the Blues to be top 8
as with the Bombers. Poor guess work there Stazza back off the drugs and give reality a try mate.
Say what you will about Freo, but Saints will finish last, unless GWS are still aiming for another bunch of top draft picks in a Melbourne-esque recruitment policy.

And just because it's been 40 years since Richmond last made consecutive finals doesn't mean it can't happen again. The age profile of their list and best 22 suggests they should make finals this year.

I have a GWS membership as I live in western Sydney, they have no choice than to move up the ladder this year or membership and marketing will suffer.. They won't be playing for picks.

Cameron did it alone last year but this year they will have Patton and Boyd. Plus added mummy, shaw, josh hunt, Dylan Addison and Jed lamb for experience . All played awesome in the trial match I saw.

St Kilda = Last

I don't think they will either, especially as they have a new coach who will want to get wins on the board.

I thought Sheedy was a bit of a dud move as their first coach, but now that he is gone, I wonder whether the strategy all along was to have him be in charge of the club while they were at the bottom accumulating picks, so as to insulate their first proper coach from criticism.

Sheedy was marketing. The main reason with the giants last year was they could not run out 4 quarters. Three pre-seasons for the young guys plus the experience should help that. They won't finish too hight but I would not be surprised if they finished above a couple of sides

I don't think the marketing worked much in Sydney, as good a showman as Sheedy is, he's a bit of a nobody in rugby land.

GWS should improve up the ladder though, I agree. If they finish last it would be disappointing.

1. Hawthorn
2. Fremantle
3. Sydney
4. Essendon
5. Geelong
6. Gold Coast
7. Richmond
8. Adelaide
9. West Coast
10. Collingwood
11. Carlton
12. Bulldogs
13. Melbourne
14. GWS
15. Brisbane
16. St Kilda

Expecting Adelaide and West coast to bounce back a little bit from last years injury filled season. Collingwood and Geelong to drop slightly because they will be blooding more youngsters. Gold Coast rising, I think they're ready to really step up this year with their list. St Kilda and Brisbane to bottom out this year.
