He's had a few quiet games mixed in with those though, it's an issue of consistency, let's not forget that Drummond has been playing midfield which pumps up his numbers, it also exposes his kicking skills and decision making more. As a defender he didn't rack up the stats as much, and his kicking improved.
Disposals per game: 21, 24, 32, 23, 31, 39, 15, 14, 19, 36, 29 & 30. Apart from that 3 game period mid year, 3 sub 20 disposal games, he looks fairly consistent disposals wise. As I've said if the phantoms are correct in their ratings getting him in the 3rd round would be a nice little pick up IMO.

Just curious, how many times have you seen Duggan play? Duggan has very good foot skills, in fact it's arguably his best trait.
I have never seen him play before that clip and what I did see of him he wasn't that impressive, turned the ball over a lot.

No, when he kicked long, over 50mtrs, the ball was turned over. He moves beautifully and looked like he reads the play very well, I looked for the positives though.

Sorry bro I just can't see what you do, he looks very similar to a Clinton King to me a goer but no X factor.

Well he is 17 I think, no interest in "X- Factor", but I am interested in someone who looks like a real footballer and I think Liam does, but that's ok, we don't all see things the same way.

Ha ha, one says he moves beautifully another says he is like Clinton King!

Which is it?

I doubt a prospective Clinton King would be considered at first round!
It's just a difference in opinion dude, I just can't see what the other tiger supporter does.

That wasn't a highlights package, that was a selection of his play against SA in one match. Trust me, you can cut up a highlights package from one match and make every single kid in the draft look ordinary. Guys like Wright and Petracca have had their off days too. Duggan has had games where he has played as well as any player in this draft. Of course, he has had his poor games where he drifts in and out of matches, but Richmond will most likely get an unfinished product picking at 11.

My knock on Duggan is his midfield game, whether he's capable of playing midfield. Although it depends what Richmond are going to use their draftee for of course.

Looks undersized to play that position, he'd need to bulk up a lot.

That's what the Richmond fc gyms are for. You don't pass up on drafting a player because they're too skinny. That's Wallace talk right there.
Please don't ever mention that used car salesman's name on our sacred forum ever again.....

I don't have the figures handy but I heard somewhere he was played predominantly in the midfield in the later portion of the TAC Cup and absolutely killed it. Put in multiple 25+ disposal performances with a few multiple goals as well. Can anyone verify?

Played midfield the whole tac cup season.

The way he sort of runs, is very similar to Cotchin.

Checked his highlights reel...kid is a very clean player...always moving...and looks to move the ball on at all times...big kick...
Needs to work on kicking disposal...on building his frame...definitely not an in and under...solid player all the same..
Would not be unhappy if we picked him...reminds me of Lennon...
But do we really need another Lennon type player...? Seems like we're just going to stack these HF medium types.

Geez u would have to take cocky on some of those numbers can the kid play?
Jarod Oakley-Nicholls tested really well at the draft camp too
Not saying that Nakia is a JON, but you don't just go from these results, they just confirm what recruiters already suspected

If it was last overall then hopefully he slides into the 20's and we can downgrade our pick for a number of picks or upgrade one of our later picks. As someone's running capacity is probably one of the easiest things to improve in an AFL environment. (or with the help of Miles's running coach....:p;))
Not sure if that is still the case with the interchange cap coming in, more and more recruiters will focus on kids that already have good stamina

According to who, most of the phantoms that are out have him outside the top 40, so don't even rate him at all. Don't be mistaken I like the kid and would be wrapped if we picked him up with a 3rd round pick based on those rankings.
Me , based on what I have heard which I I'll take over phantom drafts posted by individuals whose identity is unknown .

My worry about Drummond is that he's an athlete first and a footballer second. I don't think he gets that much of the ball and his kicking can be iffy at times. I'd be happy to take him in the second round, but that's it. He reminds me of an unrefined Heath Shaw in his dash.
His testing is a credit to his willingness to improve on deficiencies .second round would be a good get, although I will admit IMO overagers are extremely hard to read.

Where is the inside word coming from that we are keen on this kid?

Honestly reckon he looks decent, but I'm not sure he is the player we need.
We need some X-Factor and some speed. What about this Weller kid?

X-Factor + some speed will be coming from a bit deeper in the draft I think.
