i remember in the jack watts draft the biggest debate over here in WA was who was the better of:
Daniel Rich
Nic Nat
Stephen Hill

would be interesting to see how people rate them now

I look at it with regards to consistency of performance - I think Rich has been the most consistent of the three. Nic Nat does that great stuff but doesn't play enough 4 quarter games for mine but he is super talented. Hill is a super player but again can be inconsistent.

On pure talent Nic Nat is number one but you need more than just talent

Just my opinion....feel free to shout me down!!

They are not in the bottom 5.

Teams will select best available that high in the draft and avoid the risk of picking a ruckman at the top end IMO.

True, but Carlscum won't either...

We'll see but right now I see Wright as the draft slider.
Big call, you have to factor in the fact that metro had a stack of fwds so it allowed them to move wright into the ruck. a couple of games in the run home in the tac and he could explode.

#1 - St Kilda - Petracca
#2 - Brisbane - McCartin
#3 - GWS - Durdin
#4 - Carlton - Wright
#5 - Melbourne - Brayshaw (Goddard if Frawley leaves)
#6 - Bulldogs - ??? - Goddard the best tall but not sure he is the forward they want. Maybe take him anyway and push Roughead to FF with Talia and Goddard back?

Bulldogs will be really interesting. They need more of a sure thing after taking 'risky' picks in Stringer and Bontempelli. Brayshaw would suit but they don't lack for inside grunt. Maybe grab a Weller type?

They need a tall forward as badly as ourselves, Brisbane and Carlton and there is no chance they'll get one of Keitel or Watchman with their second.

Even though he might not be the forward they want, Goddard could be forced to become the forward they need.

GWS will take a look at Laverde and Ahern, IMO. They have Giles and Boyd to play the second ruck role, Laverde is a really unique player and Ahern is the small forward they need alongside Devon Smith.

I had GWS with Durdin just because they have been linked with him basically from day 1.

Mowman I'd have Wright at 3 on our list. Petracca looks the clear #1 for my money and as a forward I think McCartin is a better option.

Won't be disappointed with any of them though.

God watching the Sandy game if White can take th next step, we could go the best Mid in this draft. And if Bruce can improve his kicking he will be a very good AFL player
