Also those knocks on Petraccas kicking are quickly dispelled when watching the (albeit minimal) footage of his other champ games in todays article on afl.com.au

Some of those I50s my god.. Riewoldt will be licking his lips!

Yeah I saw it too...I was salivating again. His basketball skills came out in that game. Chopped of an opposition kick from a standing vertical jump, clean hands, long goals and everything you expect from a number 1 pick. I'm back on the Petracca train.

I love it at 38 seconds where he runs through an opponent then drills a pass inside 50.

Im taking norf for our mock draft.
So I was over their board skulking around checking out who their fans thought they needed/ liked.
And they are all up in R. McKenzie.
Its like a board full of uncle barrels over there.

Uncle Barrels you might need to head down to arden st and get heavy.

1: Petracca
21: Neal-Bullen
22: McKenzie
(41: Howard)
Upgrade: Templeton
Upgrade: Minchingon
Upgrade: Shenton

Retain: Weller

Delist: Milera
Delist: Schneider
Delist: Simpkin

Rookie: Le Grice
Rookie: Schneider

Hire me St Kilda... Pelicans get stuffed in Barrels...

Barrels, how bad was McKenzies injury and will it see him slip in the draft?

Well, unless they're taking him at pick 16 they can tongue my fleshy parts..

And if they do, then I guess we'll just have to take the slider left over... Oh damn... ;)

EDIT: bloody hell, aren't they keen!

Who said the kid was dodgy with his kicking?
Yes they are highlights, but already looking forward to a Petracca/Dunstan combination in our mids. Topped off with the class of Billings, Acres, Steven, and Armo.

Starting to acquire a fair long term midfield

Think that was just some urine-purloining...

He certainly gets a lot of punch with his field kicking. A lot like a young & fit Lenny Hayes.

From the highlights seems to have more penetration and length than Lenny. Lenny was never a huge kick, although I did see him dob a goal at the G from about 55 deep into the 4th quarter of some now forgotten game.

A fair size rump on the lad. Admittedly he looks a good prospect from those highlights.
Everyone does in highlights of course, but to me what's impressive is that he takes the ball at it's highest points and uses his body beautifully to protect the drop.

Couldn't agree more, outstanding - a poster on here said Petracca's kicking is no good - ...'not fit for a No1 DP...' based on viewing one tape.....

Interestingly, read somewhere that Jack Billings was No.1 in the league for effective disposal inside 50 (or something like that) this season.

Roo may finally get delivery, wouldn't that be nice for the old bloke.?
