Any more strong rumours about who is looking like being gone by our 2nd and 3rd picks, or who we are really keen on?

Last I read was Reece McKenzie to Adelaide, De Goey to West Coast and Clem Smith to Gold Coast.

Why did they feel the need to have a full size pic of a random Collingwood player there. Is it a compulsory thing at the HUN.

They always do that no matter what there is always a story on collingwood because they have the most supporters and it sells the most papers. Plus Collingwood supporters actually think that the HUN is cutting edge journalism!!

Talk of Daniel McKenzie possibly going in the top 20 too... hm. If so I'd expect it probably from Carlton/Essendon around those picks, or GWS at 23.

Daniel McKenzie as well would probably be an awesome result for us, he plays mostly HBF doesn't he? I hear that we have a couple of options for that role already (although I wouldn't back Langford and I think he plays there).

If Langford got to 21 then we have to snap him up before you blink... very talented! Can play Half Back, forward (like 3rd tall) but at 190cm and from what I've seen from him, he's going to be a very good midfield type imo. Would be disappointing if he doesn't ever become a gun mid, has all the tools imo!

Don't know anything about Taylor as a player

Had some pretty serious hip injuries as a result of his junior running career, which was only diagnosed in 2013. He then missed the majority of 2013 as a result. He's a physical beast though, and as noted his endurance is elite; to the point where he'd give Riewoldt a run for his money. While I think he could be a reasonable player, he won't be more than another HBF which we have an abundance on. Would assume we pass on him.

I mentioned him a whole ago, I like him more than the crows duo who are training with us.

Clearly lacked a small forward in 2014 and i think Petrenko fills a need right there. Is he good enough? who knows what a second chance could do for him but at worst he gives us OK depth for the VFL side to potentially win the VFL flag which would be nice, see McKernan as the same.

None of our rucks are that great forward while McKernan has a better forward game and possibly KPD game which we also clearly lack so also fill a need.

We have plenty of players who can play similar to Taylor so i don't see him exactly filling a need as much as the other two would if we punted on them.

What's to say we don't go all three anyway? everyone just assuming a player will slip to pick 1 in the RD wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen. But i guess one or two if you're lucky slip.

KM now has us taking Christian Petracca, Liam Duggan and Jarrod Garlett. I don't really know much but from what I've read that seems like a good haul!

If we came away from this draft with Petracca and Duggan I would cry tears of joy. Nearly everybody under rating Liam Duggan, class, skill, time....he's a beauty.

The best thing about Duggan is he he is the best bloke in the draft in terms of character

Have mentioned previously my love for Duggan, having seen him up close a few times with St. Pat's. Outstanding kid, he's a bit like Cotchin from a couple of years back. Time, class and character. Would be stoked to get him.

I can't exactly remember my draft prediction but I did have Duggan at 21.

Would be a fantastic get IMO.
