I have it on good authority that Sando isn't a massive fan of Jaensch - perhaps he is being prepared for a trade? I'm not a fan of Jaensch at all but I can definitely see that he has improved. I still don't trust him as a defender.

Good news if Sando is finally not letting personal preferences impact on selection.

No more pets, porps, etc.

Must pick on form.

kerridge would have been a smokey if he didn't get injured.

Seems like he has fallen of the face of the earth after a minor injury kept him out a few weeks back.

Stupid comment. You know nothing.

Agree

I don't think Sando views Matty J as being in our best 22 when everyone is up and running and with so many players out of contract at years end combined with another likely finals miss the off season looms as a fascinating period

OK, firstly I admit to not reading the whole thread.. just sitting here having a few drinks, so my view is not biased by the thoughts previous.
Nice question - most improved-
1st - Jaensch. Keeping the rebound he has previously had, but his defensive work has improved remarkably from what it was. No longer liability, now it is decently effective. Enough so that it makes it hard for both Brown and Laird to be in the same team.
2nd goes to Jacobs. Although he was so poor last year that he had little option but to improve!! But we needed him to, and he has.
3rd - Smith. Although it is natural progression. For a first round draft pick he is producing the goods.

If Sando didn't like Jaensch, why would he be so persistent with him last year, when he was in atrocious form? It doesn't make sense.
