So, if Essendon say they didn't self-report, does that further fuel the fire that Andy D is a complete flog?
Yes he is a flog because he used the ol' essendon self reported card whenever he was questioned about the penalty given to AFC as opposed to Essendon's.

Also, weird to see Scott Selwood named for the Eagles after he was ruled out for the season with a serious ankle injury in round 12...

Yeah, what? He is an awesome bloke off the field (one of the most popular guys at the club); has been a great leader for a young group; brought a lot of fans over from Rugby League to AFL; and got to a standard with his footy where he wasn't just being gifted a best 22 position, he earned it and played well. He is just unlucky that the GC has so much talent up there, he could easily be a best 22 player at a club like Melbourne or the Saints right now. At the end of the day, he is much better at Rugby and deserves to finish his professional playing career in the sport he is best at.

I'm sure you'll respond with 'omg wat a waste of money!!!!11!!!!!'

Except he managed to get a couple of kicks and stick it out for a while. Good decision to go back to rugby while he still has something left in his body.

Thought the Tiges were a good chance - then I saw the SYD side on paper, geez they are strong on every line, even with 2-3 out.

Reckon it will come down to the Suns game

No...they didn't say they can't do it. They just said they have to disclose it at the time of the membership purchase, means marquee reserve seat games will be designated at the start of the season.

quarter step at a time?

AFL article on Port playing Never Tear Us Apart at home finals.

"Final sign-off on the song may still rest with Port's greatest rivals, should the Power and Crows come up against each other in the first week of finals.

Thomas said he was hopeful that Adelaide would endorse Port playing its anthem before the game in the interests of sportsmanship and goodwill.

“I think Adelaide does understand the importance and significance of the song to our people, and I’m sure they’d endorse and support us playing it before the game."

First who really understands the significance... And why would any club give them permission to get an edge at a neautural game if both clubs have to agree, not just us.

I'd be happy to let the home team take over all home finals, but not for exceptions for one club out of 8.
