Obviously a very good crowd, but a little lower than I would of thought with everyone having to buy their tickets in the last week and therefor being more likely to attend. I think this shows how much the overselling of all those GA seats helps vs having all of the ground allocated seating like we do.

Disagree, we were never blasted out of contention as easily as Richmond were, and IIRC even though we were being outplayed, we still were in with a slight chance at 3QT and had countless chances at goal in which we rarely converted.

The game was easily the worse over the weekend and the worse over the last couple of weeks. Horrible spectacle for AFL.

It was clear that Richmond won their GF against a dead rubber Sydney.

Probably shows what going for a mature age top up of your playing list does. It may make you better in the short term, and good enough to get into the finals, but it probably won't take you much further than that and after a few years you'll find yourself SOL.

Which would probably be a decent example of why the Crows shouldn't recruit the likes of Robinson or Malceski.

What's hurt Geelong the most in their attempt to extend their period of dominance is that their three most talented youngsters Menzel, Vardy and Christensen can't get on the park.
