They are a filthy club, they are willing to piss Krezuer for pick 2

Yet you and many others wanted us to intentionally lose to get pick one. Which would make our club just as filthy.

Personally, I was rapt to get the win. Club needed it, Leppa needed, Members needed it and so did the players.

Once again, the Hawks get to top up for free, and minnow clubs pay the price.

How good is free agency guys!
NEVER been a fan and never will be. Half hearted attempt at replicating US sports but fail to add the other fail safes that keep it relatively even. Even heard rumours they could be getting rid of the compo picks which will be an even further disgrace to what it is.

So kreuzer is worth a first round compensation pick in the eyes of supporters but leuy isnt? leuey has surely done more in his career then kreuzer to show his worth?
Both have done about the same. Both have huge potential, but both have had their downs and both have had runs with injuries. But this is the VFL we're talking about...they'll do anything to boost "The Big 4"

In Francis, you get both.

“As that intercept player, he was the best defender we saw at the championships. Going forward, he was in the top three forwards that we saw,” a leading AFL analyst tells Fox Footy.

It didn’t take Francis long to prove his versatility at the recent under 18s carnival.

In a Round 2 victory over Vic Metro, the 190cm youngster took 11 intercept marks playing across half back.

Just a week later and he went forward, kicking 4.5 from 22 disposals in a convincing win over Western Australia.

Good for our redhead quota too ;)

Schache set to slide

Young key forward, Josh Schache looks set to slide in the draft as concerns have been raised about what some have referred to as "lifestyle" and reputed discipline issues. The young key forward was allegedly caught with three young girls in his tent on a recent school camp, a night after being attacked at outside a Melbourne nightclub, one week after it was suggested he may depart any club who drafted him after two years to return to Brisbane, the city which he traveled to for a weekend some years prior and the club for which his late father had played. A person from Carlton claimed that the club, desperate for elite talent on the back of their third wooden spoon in eleven years, would most likely want to avoid any risk with the number one pick, and as such would be more likely to draft out and out gun defender and all-round upstanding citizen, Jacob Weitering. A source close to the Brisbane Lions claimed they would still possibly consider Schache with their first round pick if he were available.

Getting caught with several women in my tent at camp is the only reason I'm not currently an AFL footballer.

And the 57 year old home economics teacher never taught again.

Should've moved to Perth.
