Keays speed will be far from an issue. He's future captain material if I've ever seen it.

have been reading through the phantom draft board/threads most of them say the knock on ben keays is a lack of pace. 2 recent players who had knocks on them pre draft for a lack of pace were simon black and sam mitchell, lets hope it turns out the same long term.

Keays is where the pill is. Hence pace isn't a worry. His kicking needs some work.

Like most teenagers he doesn't come as the completely finished product. Working with Simon Black [he wasn't "fast" either] should add some polish.

I think Chol is seen as another possible Archie. Worth a punt but not a guaranteed. Not worth a draft pick that could get us Wagner or William. Nothing on Chol himself.

You'd assume so. More just saying that most people have described them as a group of three (with opinions fairly evenly divided as to who we should take) but perhaps there is a more clearly defined top two.

If Adelaide does bid on Hipwood there needs to be some words. They also bid on Freeman and also Andrews I believe so I would be asking what's the deal?! Will have to wait and see.

i would take is as quite a compliment if they bid on hipwood, they are one of the best in the business at identifying and developing tall talent

Never really had him in the frame for top 5 myself. Some of the comparisons to Stringer have people putting him that extra bit higher. 6-15.

i'm most interested to seee how GC go about it, think he would be an excellent fit for them, but they keep being linked to guys like Milera and Ah Chee...players i dont think they need

He'd fit nicely at an Essendon or Carlton.

I think Milera would be a super fit for Gold Coast personally. He could very well become the best player of this draft class.

from what i have seen i really hope brisbane get chol in the draft. I like what i have seen. worth the risk.

Probably comes down to what other clubs do. I suspect he's behind Williams, Wagner and Chol, so if other clubs pick them and we don't match, Weller's chances have to to improve. I know Quigley rates him.

Buzza's probably left his run a bit late in the sense that we/ have quite a few young tall forwards on our list now in Close, McStay, Freeman and Schache. The club may well want to develop Hipwood in that area too. I think he'll be selected in the rookie draft by another club.

Slim to none I'd have thought. Behind William, Wagner, and Chol. I actually like him though. I don't think he'd ever become a star, but a good role player for his side.
