Man Kangas were awful today.

Glad I didn't end up falling for Swallow.
Atrocious first half especially. Adelaide were pretty awesome though, have put a fair bit of money on them finishing top 4 this season. We miss Betts immensely and with Garlett and Waite gone, thats 100+ goals a season we havent really replaced adequately.

Yeah Waite, Betts and Garlett definitely leave too huge a hole in the forward line.

We have no good zippy small forward now.

It's early but I regretted taking Griffen over Dangerfield. That one did my head in for weeks.

Many premos underperformed Shaw MJ Griffen Dusty Buddy but I'm confident in those choices.

Mumford & Goldstein were solid although CD failed to acknowledge it.

Gray was excellent without really dominating. Bodes well for huge scores down the line. Fyfe is a beast but let me down as captain. Was on 111 with 10mins to go in a tight game. Went missing when a 140+ was begging.

Rookie selections were good. McIntosh Heeney Vandenberg CEY Saad Hogan McGrath Lonie. Awaiting Jed.

Cripps Salem have room for improvement. Better be quick though! Touk still a chance to go ok.

Best of all, I'm glad footys back!

Are you worried about Griffen get tagged every week mate?

I just don't think he's up to it lately with the tag on him.

Tags are expected. Nothing new for him. He was poor today. Weller took him out of it but I was mostly disappointed with his intensity. Seemed to float around packs but didn't recieve any handballs. Played forward a fair bit too. I'll give him a pass. He can go 70 like today but go BANG next week.

Subbed out Heeney for Sheed (-67 points) and then traded Brodie Smith for Heath Shaw (-57)

67 + 57 = 124 + 1805 = 1929 with two remaining could have been reality if not for my stupid last minute trades.

Deledio and Griffen were both poor but I have confidence they'll both come good. Not so sure about Ibbottson though.
Franklin, Montagna and Shaw all forgot the season had started until half time and then, after dusting off the cobwebs, managed about 80, 70 and 55 respectively in their second half. They should go on with it from here.

My only real vent is reserved for Champion Data. People are saying that the new scoring system has destroyed the rucks scores, but Kadog and The Oz were reporting that the ruckmen were receiving only 2 points for each HO to advantage instead of the 5 they should have received. This suggests to me that it isn't the new scoring system that's the problem, it's that Champion Data are not applying it the way they should be. It could be something as simple as a glitch in their program that's resulting in the wrong score being added each time they register a HO to advantage. Does anyone know how we can contact them to have this looked into? There don't seem to be any contact details on the SC site.

They have a BF account Champion Data No idea if I tagged them properly as I'm on my phone, but you can search them and PM them.

Regret taking Bennell over Bonts, Griffen over Heppell and choosing Tom Boyd...

Getting Boyd, at least your's was only pretend money with this decision.

Downgrading Danger to a rookie yesterday instead of Griffen because I left the decision too late cost me 50+ points. :rainbow:

Oh well, on the bright side, I now have 430k in the bank for two Rd2 upgrades so not the end of the world.:$

Which rookie?

No Gray. Thought I'd have a chance to get him in when he dropped a little but he was underpriced. I'll be chasing him for a chance to squeeze him in the forward line for ages now.

Walters and Kolodjashnij were my two "risky picks".
Mistakes have been made.

I'd like to thank joe Daniher for his whopping score of 45, not a bad score for a key forward considering the conditions in Sydney.

Trent Mckenzie and KK on the other hand, your scores were just putrid. consider yourselves on probation.

Everyone is mad at Mumford/Goldstein for scoring 98 and 100. Honestly pretty happy. I've had that shit of a round with Newnes, Lumumba, Ibbotson, Goodes, Cripps, Martin and Salem that I'll happily take some scores above bloody 50

Hopping on the Newnes train.
Oxley over McIntosh.
2 Tigers in the forward line.

On the bright side, my mids look dead on. Glad I backed Heeney when everyone was shouting him down early in the preseason.
