We're quietly going about our business the Saints, & the rest of the comp is sitting up now & taking notice. Have leapfrogged & become one of the must be destination club's judging by our savvy trading from opposition clubs.. Cherry picked players Bruce, Hickey, Longer, Membrey, Freeman & maybe Carlisle, speak volumes about our current list management staff. This period resembles the 2000-2003 period, so there's another year or two before we ease up on stockpiling talent, at minimal expense. Our window of opportunity might be sooner than we think, the way the game has evolved in the recent period. Next year is likely we target an elite mid through a trade. With the mail on this forum suggesting we've cast a huge net, we might catch more than we had hoped for. The club have kept their end of the bargain, when they repeatedly stated they'd be aggressive in trading for players a while back.
