SA GREAT
Yep. Would be miraculous for McInnes to make it now. All in his hands though and that's more than hundreds of talented kids get.

All overSo is that it now or is there another DFA period
If the injury gods are on our side next year Petrie won't get a game in the AFL side, however it's just obvious he has been put on the Rookie list purely as insurance. Scotty could have complications and not come back as soon as expected, and in the past Vardy has broken down. Don't know why some are being so negative. Also as East Perth lost Johnson at the end of last year due to retirement and Giles will be playing AFL, I think East Perth will be happy to have him on board. Thirdly doesn't Petrie have coaching ambitions. He may be used at East Perth in some sort of development role in the future?

The term ruckman is being used loosely I think he's insurance for JK or Darling. Even though he hasn't rucked in a while/ever I'd back him in to negate the oppositions ruckman over Fraser. He was a smart footballer.I think people would have been accepting of his drafting as insurance if:
1: he was a ruckman
2: showed any semblance of form over the last few years.
I can only think it was a salary cap issue that a ruckman wasn't picked up instead of him.
I would guess a maximum of 1 seasonHow much longer can Petrie be debated
Nope he gawnSo is Brown still on our list?
y u no use proper punctuationBrown wasn't picked up by anyone either, to the surprise of no-one. Because he's shit. Begs the question why it took us so bloody long to realise it. Career highlights being his first ever game (his standout best) where he actually looked serviceable. Won us a wooden spoon when a puff of wind knocked him over against Brisbane was the single worst selection **** up I've ever seen in last years QF.

I reckon that's pretty close to what DS would look like
Whilst i don't disagree with any of that, it's pretty savage son.Brown wasn't picked up by anyone either, to the surprise of no-one. Because he's shit. Begs the question why it took us so bloody long to bounce his sorry arse the f**k off our list (ie away from temptation of our stupid match committee). Career highlights being his first ever game, his standout best. Won us a wooden spoon when a puff of wind knocked him over against Brisbane.

He had zero tools.Didn't mind Brown, he had some good tools to work with and had a great half a season as a lock down defender

Pfft, as if this board would carry on with a joke past its use by date
