I just do not know who to select. Not sure if mackie will have a place in the side. DOnt think gibson wll be good this year especially if he has o play more key position
think Frawley will take the key forwards.
agree he wont be as good as last...but close!

D1 and D2 are giving me my biggest headache.
Mcveigh, Rance, Laird, Simpkin and KK (and of course Shaw but atm I'm ok not starting with him) all interest me a lot.

It'll be a last minute decision who I decide to take, 2 minutes before lockout lol

I've gone pretty deep in DEF with Shaw, Laird, KK & Birchall :thumbsu:

I'm getting turned off KK, not really sure why exactly, but I am.

Somebody convince me to stay on, or should I just run?

Don't forget he started slow last year then came home strong.

I'm sticking with him :thumbsu:

I actually had KK locked in & then after how poor he was in NAB1 I got rid of them but then I was like woah just slow down anyone can have a bad game it doesn't mean they'll have a bad season so I got back on him. Think he'll try harder in real season :thumbsu:

Upgrade target for me, didn't score a tonne till round 8 last year, started really poorly, could see him bottom out at 400k before he hits his straps. Pittard looks like a ripping option to start with. I like Langdon as well.

No Rookie defenders presenting themselves this year, we were a bit blessed last year with so many.

I'm going to have to downgrade elsewhere to maybe bring in Howe as D5 and may even have to get an expensive D6...

Expect to see a couple after tomorrow's Carlton v Essendon game

Hartley, Brown x2, Collins x2, Adams, Tippa, Bryne, Bonner. Some will surely play.

I need them too

Who is Bryne suiting up for? Bet the old guy who marks the boundary lines is excited! :p

Keep an eye out for Tom Ruggles guys.
Small defender for the Cats ($102K).
Bews looked to hurt his arm vs Magpies (and Bews played terribly too) so wouldn't be surprised if Ruggles plays against Essendon NAB2.
If he plays well enough he'll keep Bews out of the side and make us some cash too :thumbsu:

Running defender too should get us some more points over a lockdown defender (like Bews I guess) if he plays.
