Looking likely the Giants will opt for Taranto at pick 2 leaving Ainsworth for the Suns or Blues.Wait. This doesn't make sense. I thought the top 3 was pretty set in stone.

I really considered not saying anything due to this but no he's a good friend of Hugh's. Pretty excited tbh he looks the best of the lot imo - reckon he will surprise a few and have a pretty immediate impact across the HF line for us.Would that be from your former source?
Yeah. Just purely on media talk I thought McGrath, Luggage and Ainsworth were locks for top 3.In what way?
EDIT: Nevermind, you meant the Q-Clash bit.

heheheheheheJust remember to be kind come draft night as I may be modding solo.

If we take McCluggage and don't bid on Bowes or Setterfield, is it still draft manipulation?

I still think we lack a genuine elite inside mid. McCLuggage or Ainsworth I don't think will become it if we drafted either one, Jansen and Lester would be lucky to be on the list after their current contract and while Mathieson looks good for his age he lacks class and fitness. I'm hoping we can nab Worpel next season... He looks like one of the best inside mid to come through in a few years instead of reaching for Graham.
Okay, I have ridden out my draft week cognitive dissonance.
I'm on team McCluggage. Love you Benny but I just don't think it's going to happen. See you in the Q-Clash.
Feeling similair. If it was just looked in isolation with McCluggage then we should all be stoked that the best juniourOkay, I have ridden out my draft week cognitive dissonance.

They have a stacked midfield but with Hoskin Elliot and garlett gone they could really use a mid sized forward who can rotate through the midfield, especially after Stevie j goesI'm intrigued as to why this collective thinking has developed that GWS are going to bypass McCluggage to take Taranto, especially as MCClug was almost universally regarded as the likely #1 Pick until the last couple of weeks.
What unique qualities does Taranto possess that make him so much a better fit for GWS than Clugga??
Great read. Any chance do you think that the Lions would consider taking him with one of your picks in the 20's? Would be a bit of a reach but the kid is talented and has expressed a real interest in heading up north.
Every chance his cousin will be playing somewhere else in 2018.That's pretty definitive!
Unlikely; we'll have neither in two years time once McCluggage returns home and Ainsworth is forever lost.We can get him to move up the M1 in 2 years.
