Looks good in the highlights but just looking at a 2 minute clip mate to me he seems to be lacking some pace ? but moticed his repeat sprints are good any idea ?

But i think i may have seen my new you tube favourite and he looks like my type of pick with #29 and he he is a bottom ager so some more height to come

Player comparison: Jack Ziebell

Can I have two please?

Bishop richoatthedisco what are your thoughts on Jack Graham from SA at our first pick? Or are there better options? Also do you think we will go after any delisted free agents? I feel as though if we pick up an X Richards and a O'shea/Litherland our depth in the forward and back line will be very solid, which will allow us to take the best available talent in the ND.

richoatthedisco yeh fair call. I actually have minimal idea about jack graham I just know he was the Larke Medalist this year. But then again so was Andrew Hooper in the year i played (just had to drop that in there).

Who would be your ideal pick with our first?
Hugh McCluggage.

;)

I don't know anything about next year's kids, so tough to say. We might want to get a tall this year, in which case Brennan Cox would be my pick around the mark. Zach Sproule or Harrison Macreadie too, but they're GWS academy.

If mid, I'd want Powell-Pepper of those who might get to our pick, but I've repeatedly said he'll be gone by then and I stand by it. Realistically, Poholke or Dylan Clarke. If I had more information about Begley I might take a chance on him.

I haven't made up my mind yet, I guess is what I'm saying. I'll take another look and come up with a list in order of preference.

What's with the Sam Powell-Pepper love on Tiger threads? He posted a 44% Disposal Efficiency at the National Champs. He has below average decision making ability and tends to throw it on the boot almost instantly. Also, his kicking mechanics are not at an AFL standard. We need to be focusing on guys like Sproule, Macreadie, Cox, Rotham etc

Because of his pace and power around stoppages, as well as his ferocity.

I agree his kicking is below par but you can see from the start of the year through to the all-star game that his mechanics have improved. That suggests he knows its a weakness and he has worked very hard to improve it.

That being said would be very happy with anyone you mentioned as well.

The two bargains of the draft IMO will be simpin and esava , both had injuries in 2016 .
I love the fact they have played reasonably well in big games.
I am well and truly on the esava train , very raw but extremely atheletic , modern day footballer.
Did simpkin miss games due to a broken leg or something? Hes just a small forward yea?

One performance doesn't change a lot- when you kick at under 50% in the U18 Champs two years in a row and under 50% in the WAFL it's not looking like it is getting better. Yes had one game where he nice fine at Punt Road - But one swallow doesn't make a summer. Better options out there at 27.

Youve probably stated who already but if not got a handful for us to have a look at?

Simpkin will still go top 20. I'm not sure what position Esava plays at AFL level. I hope we take Olango late or in the rookie draft.

Not just. Would have moved to the midfield this year if not for his broken leg.
