Maybe tomorrow? When does Grigg get delisted?
At the moment we have 5 off the list. We need that 6th spot surely.
You'd think OBrien is certain to come on.
I dare say one of Keath Greenwood and Beech would too.
I reckon with this draft we would want 4 picks considering how deep it is.
Then there is Michael Barlow potentially as well.
At least one more must still come off

Heard rumours that 3 will be taken in rookie draft by swans . Hebron is definite
Be a solid later pick for sure . 19 yoHave just watched a bit more of Matt Guelfi - this guy could be a steal with a later pick. Very good at stoppages, has clean disposal, has some decent pace, and also has the ability to push forward. Needs to work on his endurance a little from what I've heard, but, again, we're a club that can do that. Could develop into a very neat inside mid.
West AdelaideCan they stay in the academy after their draft year ......or once they hit draft year that's it?Heard rumours that 3 will be taken in rookie draft by swans . Hebron is definite
McFadden likely as well . Others are chances for the last spot
None of them are much good , think jake brown who was impressive at 17 will miss out
Baron-Hay is son of a board member which may help him get selected !!!
They can be 19 year olds and still be in academy .... but that's itCan they stay in the academy after their draft year ......or once they hit draft year that's it?
West AdelaideSo am i correct that these Academy players could spend another year in the Academy, without the need to be rookied ? .......or are Sydney calculating / hoping that the cost will be cheaper this year than next? They can be 19 year olds and still be in academy .... but that's it
Some of those have already done that eg Wilson baron-hay Hebron McFadden are all 19 yo this yearSo am i correct that these Academy players could spend another year in the Academy, without the need to be rookied ? .......or are Sydney calculating / hoping that the cost will be cheaper this year than next?
West AdelaideWell we have no 2nd round pick ......and frankly good luck to anyone guessing on #43 and onwardsCan some of you people in the know, please fill me on on possible 2nd, 3rd and 4th picks for us? Who is realistic, but we would be absolutely delighted to get so that I can celebrate without really knowing anything?
Thanks guys and girls. Appreciate the great work!

What we can say, is that #43 will be needs based ......that player in some part will be determined by who we take at #13
I agree. I really like him and I think he really meets a need. Nice height. Inside/outside mid with decent speed. Decent skills.Have just watched a bit more of Matt Guelfi - this guy could be a steal with a later pick. Hamish was certainly there that day in person...McCluggage, Berry, Drew and Lipinski played that day too??One of the BF draft experts in Bishop is saying we're interested in Cedric Cox, enough to make him think we'll take him with our first.
IIRC Bicks said that Cedric played in the game Haggis went and watched?

Tend to agree, he's in the 45-55 range in my power rankings at the moment. Long way to go yet, but could end up a very good HBF/wingman. Certainly has the skill, speed and evasion. Again, I do think endurance is part of the issue with Cedric, as he tends to float in and out of games, which our club can easily fix. Would be okay with him at 43, although I don't think he's the type of player we desperately need.Hamish was certainly there that day in person...McCluggage, Berry, Drew and Lipinski played that day too??
Honestly I saw Cedric Cox on 4 occasions live this year as well as the televised game and whilst he's got obvious good speed and a nice skills set he just doesn't find enough pill or impact the contest enough for my liking at this stage.....and he's an over ager. I also feel he will take time to adapt to AFL on what I've seen so I see him more as a project type player. Would surprise me if we used our 1st on him...personally I think he's being overhyped a little.
West AdelaideThey're Vanila players Cedric Cox & Matt Guelfi.....Meh!I've heard that before too
Surely in mix for pick 43 but you never know these days !!
I'll take a stab with 8-10 namesCan some of you people in the know, please fill me on on possible 2nd, 3rd and 4th picks for us? Who is realistic, but we would be absolutely delighted to get so that I can celebrate without really knowing anything?

Can you stop saying ' inside mid'? They will be more than just that, sharenberg and Dylan Clarke are ' inside mids' - we won't go for themThey're Vanila players Cedric Cox & Matt Guelfi.....Meh!
If we go tall with Marshall at #13 (unlikely but possible) ......then we'll take an inside mid at #43
If we take the inside mid at #13 ......then IMO we'll go for the "project" taller utility / KP at #43
Cox screams 'project' to me, definitely not 'meh'.They're Vanila players Cedric Cox & Matt Guelfi.....Meh!
West AdelaideWhy? ......players are predominantly inside or outside ......lets not get silly about the terminology, everyone knows what each term meansCan you stop saying ' inside mid'? They will be more than just that, sharenberg and Dylan Clarke are ' inside mids' - we won't go for them
