We need Brad Crouch to explode
Please don't jinx him, he's injury prone as it is...

We need Brad Crouch to explode
I think if Milera, Menzel and Cameron can get the best out of themselves we'll be in pretty good stead for X factor. As it stands getting first hands on the footy is an even bigger problem for us IMO, if Berry or Brodie can cover that and promptly I think we'll be looking pretty good.My only concern is our lack of X factor and brilliance in midfield , not sure Berry or Brodie address this but they are great competitors

They can do that , and they can play full seasons in their first year if things go well for them in training and injury senseI think if Milera, Menzel and Cameron can get the best out of themselves we'll be in pretty good stead for X factor. Happens every time. Mitch Harvey and callum ferguson are two others that spring straight to mindThey likely stole him
A bit like Ben Hart , poor old Blackfriars

I think he'd be firmly in our mix and has midfield potential ... Elite speed , ball handling and bit of mongrel but lots of physical development requiredHayward potentially going inside 10 is a massive shock. I wonder if we are totally against using 13 for him or one of the 2 kpd?
Naturally a risk though, considering how low he currently accumulates. Floor is that he turns into a Sicily-type. Upside is Fyfe, though.I think he'd be firmly in our mix and has midfield potential ... Elite speed , ball handling and bit of mongrel but lots of physical development required
Plenty of upside

Yeah I think the Venables dream is over unless we have been playing superb ducks and drakes
Powell - Pepper unlikely
Brodie , Hayward and Berry are the boys

I still think broadie or berry is our preference, but if both are gone will be interesting to see if we take Hayward over a Venables or simpkin type?Naturally a risk though, considering how low he currently accumulates. Floor is that he turns into a Sicily-type. Upside is Fyfe, though.

Gut feel says Florent to North or WB.I wouldn't rule out Florent![]()
Same. Seems like it will be one of those two at this stage. Reckon Hayward goes to GC.I still think broadie or berry is our preference, but if both are gone will be interesting to see if we take Hayward over a Venables or simpkin type?
LOL and who was saying he projected as a Brad Ebert type player....Berry now has a full highlights package in the afl draft machine now rather than just the 'tomorrow's heroes' video.

Another point with Berry - as with Brodie, I think he's more ready to go than many others in the crop, but I still think he's got a heap of growing room. 191cm but only 80kg. Lot of muscle to still put on. Once he develops the power that comes with that muscle, watch outLOL and who was saying he projected as a Brad Ebert type player....![]()

Imagine Lever & Berry as our 2 main leaders one day . Both capable of one day being the competition's best captain based on both of them being two of the best leaders the AIS academy has seen over last 5-10 years.this is what I want, the Sloane, Talia, Lever, Laird types who refuse to be beaten and live for the contest.
The guys on afl site think there is a clear 15 in this draft which includes both b&b and Hayward.I know these lists can't be taken too literally.
Champion Data have released a top 30 based on their statistical rankings, they have Brodie going at 15 and Berry at 26.

Worth going to the Draft machine as they seem to have added extended footage to all the players there now, even guys like Ben Ronke and Pat Lipimski etc who have been hard to find video footage on are there now. Edit : And Rowan MarshallAnother point with Berry - as with Brodie, I think he's more ready to go than many others in the crop, but I still think he's got a heap of growing room. 191cm but only 80kg. Yeah I've been gradually looking through those videos, taking some of them with a grain of salt though as Ronke looks to hit a number of targets in his footage, more than you'd first expect. The hands on Lipinski though, wowWorth going to the Draft machine as they seem to have added extended footage to all the players there now, even guys like Ben Ronke and Pat Lipimski etc who have been hard to find video footage on are there now.

You'd have to like the tap work of big Rowan Marshall along with his kicking and overhead ability?Yeah I've been gradually looking through those videos, taking some of them with a grain of salt though as Ronke looks to hit a number of targets in his footage, more than you'd first expect. The hands on Lipinski though, wow![]()
West AdelaideIMO Venables provides that ......not sure, based on rumors, all of a sudden everyone jumps off Venables in a matter of hoursMy only concern is our lack of X factor and brilliance in midfield , not sure Berry or Brodie address this but they are great competitors

West AdelaideI wouldn't be against Hayward at #13 ......i have him going to Sydney at #9, so that being the case, how could i object to him at #13 .......and i love contested marks from midfieldersHayward potentially going inside 10 is a massive shock. I wonder if we are totally against using 13 for him or one of the 2 kpd?
