I think if Milera, Menzel and Cameron can get the best out of themselves we'll be in pretty good stead for X factor. As it stands getting first hands on the footy is an even bigger problem for us IMO, if Berry or Brodie can cover that and promptly I think we'll be looking pretty good.

They can do that , and they can play full seasons in their first year if things go well for them in training and injury sense

Yes - Milera , Cameron are crucial in us jumping to next level . Menzel I'm treating as a bonus . Riley Knight should be a mainstay - screams winner

IMO our mids need more versatility to play
forward and back so that we can roll larger numbers through there ... Coaching needs to create this

I think he'd be firmly in our mix and has midfield potential ... Elite speed , ball handling and bit of mongrel but lots of physical development required

Naturally a risk though, considering how low he currently accumulates. Floor is that he turns into a Sicily-type. Upside is Fyfe, though.

Champion Data have released a top 30 based on their statistical rankings, they have Brodie going at 15 and Berry at 26.

Another point with Berry - as with Brodie, I think he's more ready to go than many others in the crop, but I still think he's got a heap of growing room. 191cm but only 80kg. Lot of muscle to still put on. Once he develops the power that comes with that muscle, watch out

this is what I want, the Sloane, Talia, Lever, Laird types who refuse to be beaten and live for the contest.

Imagine Lever & Berry as our 2 main leaders one day . Both capable of one day being the competition's best captain based on both of them being two of the best leaders the AIS academy has seen over last 5-10 years.
We could have both of them.
I think Doedee could one day join them in the leadership group too.
We definitely have a good group of youngsters and adding Berry plus some quality later picks could really set us up for a sustained run at it.

Given his family situation, I'd have thought interstate teams would be pretty skeptical about taking him, and you could certainly understand if he wished to remain in Victoria.

Worth going to the Draft machine as they seem to have added extended footage to all the players there now, even guys like Ben Ronke and Pat Lipimski etc who have been hard to find video footage on are there now. Edit : And Rowan Marshall

Yeah I've been gradually looking through those videos, taking some of them with a grain of salt though as Ronke looks to hit a number of targets in his footage, more than you'd first expect. The hands on Lipinski though, wow

IMO Venables provides that ......not sure, based on rumors, all of a sudden everyone jumps off Venables in a matter of hours

This time of year all the rumors have people changing their loved up players ......stay true to your analysis, it hasn't magically changed in 24 hours

I wouldn't be against Hayward at #13 ......i have him going to Sydney at #9, so that being the case, how could i object to him at #13 .......and i love contested marks from midfielders
