Can't say either stood out to me. Can't even think of their names off top of my head. Remember guys like Brind looked like Guns in the SHC team, but weren't that good outside of it.
PAC have a few to keep a close eye on. Hugo Barry could be special.

SHC had Grant, he was the leading goal kicker or it was the Immanuel lad Mccabe he just didnt miss goals dead eye dick

Grants old man was a former Footscray,Centrals, woodville player about 6ft 2 or 3 and can run but McCabe was a similar build and could run all day also not heavy kids huge endurance on them

Not sure on Haywood stacks up against these forwrads they just maybe kicked more goals

Dont know about Brind

I thought SHC had Walker, Hinge, Mackie and Noonan they were all solid

Looking at this, I would go for Barlow and see if we can get him in. If we do;

OUT: VB, Jaensch, Lowden, Lyons, Grigg, Henderson (DFA)
IN: #13,#43, B Jarman (#53), upgrade O'Brien, upgrade Greenwood + Barlow (DFA)

I'd keep Greenwood on the rookie list and use pick 67 instead. Greenwood is basically a free player for three years until we upgrade him.

Out: Van Berlo, Jaensch, Lowden, Lyons, Grigg, Henderson
In: 13, 43, 53, 67, O'Brien, Barlow

Jarman taken at 53 or 67

Barlow in as he's a better player than Grigg

If we have an agreement to have Greenwood on the rookie list still and he is happy to stay there, then no problem. With his talent though, he will need to be upgraded at some stage.

I guess if we get Jarman, we really only add two speculative picks in to the squad, so it isn't too bad.

I heard about McCabe but didn't get to see much of him. Grant I'm not sure about either.
I know Hayward played quite a few different roles, so didn't sit in the forward line all that much

understand the benefits of the Cat B rules but I agree that he might get sniffed out by other clubs if we don't look after him.

at an absolute minimum I'd be guaranteeing him the mid-season upgrade just personally.

Pick 13:

Dan Venables - explosive inside/outside mid/forward
Jarrod Berry - versatile third tall, leader, potential
Tim English - POTENTIAL, 205cm, great skills, moves like a mid
Oliver Florent - Balanced, classy mid, great skills
Sam Powell-Pepper - bull-at-a-gate mid/forward, explosive, penetrating kick

Pick 43:

Possible sliders -
Jonty Scharenberg - Productive, balanced mid, does the right things
Willem Drew - terrific size, speed and production, can play inside/outside, mid and defence
Jack Graham - extractor, contested beast, leader, production high
Kobe Mutch - Balanced mid, versatile, uber-productive, great skills, dual-sided
Jordan Ridley - super versatile, good skills, production good, potential
Taylin Duman - 193cm, winger/half-back, VG athleticism, composed

Otherwise -
Brandan Parfitt - quality mid, jack-of-all-trades, speed and accumulation
Ben Ronke - lightning quick, inside/outside mid/forward, overager
Ben Long - small forward/defender, multitude of tricks, star at VFL level
Zac Fisher - small and light, Caleb Daniel-esque, speed, skills and production VG
Myles Poholke - speedy inside mid, can go forward, good marking

Pick 53:

Jake Pitman - similar to Fisher, elite skills, accumulation, tackling good
Luke Bunker - quality inside mid, good production, leadership qualities
Peter Ladhams - lanky ruckman, potential, good agility and ruckwork
Josh Begley - bullocking mid/forward, hefty, shades of Petracca
Corey Lyons - classy balanced mid, stepped up in finals series
Ben Jarman - F/S

Pick 67:

Peter Ladhams - "
Lachlan Murphy - great skills, production at TAC Cup level, small defender/winger
Kym LeBois - small forward, exciting, production not great at Champs
Tony Olango - exciting, athletic ruckman, good speed, ruckwork needs improvement
Luke Bunker - "
Nick Larkey - versatile KPP, good athleticism, contested marking

These are the guys I'll be looking to pick for AC at the Dogs phantom, any other names I should consider?

Thought the same did some checking and found out, Rookie salary are not part of the Cap. But what I found out is you can pay overs for Cat B rookies. So its in the Crows best interest to keep him as a Cat B, and Keep the extra money in the war chest. If they think he will be a chance to play then go into 2017 with a main list of 39.

Any idea what a Cat B's base wage actually is?

I think he started the season as a forward but Glenelg had him play stints in midfield as the season progressed.
You'd know more than I in that regard, but he seemed to be playing Forward for SA at the carnival and was very impressive to my eye in that role..

Matthew Grundy's bio :

Darcy Fogarty
Key Position Forward (Glenelg/South Australia)
05/09/1999 | 190cm | 86kg

Probably the standout key forward for the 2017 draft. Darcy Fogarty from Glenelg is a key forward who has shown some strong signs at the Under 18 championships and SANFL Under 18’s. This year he has shown recruiters that he’s a really smart forward who marks well above his head and runs extremely well but its leading patterns which make him special. Fogarty has a massive forward IQ and often loses his opponents using smart leads to create space. This has allowed him to kick bags this year for both Glenelg and South Australia. Another strength is his really good set shot technique. Fogarty is a dead eye in front of goal and with the amount of ball he’s delivered, he’s unlikely to not capitalise. One this that will hold him back is his height, he’s very small for a key forward. At 190 cm, taller defenders will have an advantage in the air making it unlikely for him to hold down the Number one forward spot. On the plus side we could see Fogarty create match-up problems as a second or third tall and potentially see him pinch in the midfield with his athletic profile. Fogarty is a solid bet up forward and looks likely to be a solid contributor at AFL level.

Sounds good Gollo, forgot about Begley earlier today, has some similar traits to Venables actually

Bicks any word on Sweet and when he will go, hearing crickets over here. will he survive to rookie draft,
If not any Rookie type Ruckmen around to Replace ROB, I am assuming ROB get upgraded.

Jack Graham Mark 2, manchild with limited upside, Venables>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Graham>>>>>>>>>>>Begley

Begley's name should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Petracca.

Still has improvement in him though, one of his main issues is endurance, which, again, can be easily fixed at our club. Certainly knows how to hit the scoreboard, may be able to turn into a Jake Stringer type?

Mate I've seen him play up close, he is not even in the same street as Jake Stringer, nowhere even close for explosiveness, He's already built like a brick shithouse and the reason he hits the scoreboard is all down to out muscling and out bodying the other kids up forward, that's not going to happen in the AFL. He's Mitch Grigg without the kicking skills and he can't get a game with us.
