Sounds like a contract extension for Mumford isn't to far away

Yeah, no way am I pencilling that one in given how badly we travel to WA but the return game I'd be more confident in already.
My gut says yes. I have no idea why but i do think he may go.Are any of you of the opinion that Caleb Marchbank will leave at years end?

I agree with your view that a finals appearance could be a decisive factor in him wanting to stay. In regards to the possibility of him leaving, do you think this is because he is a country boy and wants to get back home or because he'll chase the lucrative contract offers that are bound to come his wayMy gut says yes. I will be very haooy if he stays though. Maybe a maiden finals appearance will convince.

You guys offered pick 4 for Luke Breust back in the 2014 trade period. I could see you guys making another play for him this year. He'd be the perfect replacement for Steve Johnson next year. Would be a smart move for him as well jumping from one dynasty straight onto the next. Could finish his career with 6-7 flags if he leaves the Hawks on the way down and jumps ship to the Giants on the way up.
And as good a player as he is I don't think he fills a need for us.If Hawthorn think they are still a contender in 2017/18, why would Clarko want to trade a 25 year old Breust for a draft pick? Even if it was pick 1
If Breust really wanted to leave then that might be a different story, but I think he's happy where he is

I never suggested the Hawks wanted to trade him... I merely stated that I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants made another play for him.If Hawthorn think they are still a contender in 2017/18, why would Clarko want to trade a 25 year old Breust for a draft pick? Even if it was pick 1

Not sure we would. Palmer still has a year on his contract, Pickett should be back and fit and Dev and Toby play that role as well.
What are the statuses of Jack Steele and Jake Barrett?
a few of our guys are interested in them
would you be happy to part with them, for the right price of course?
would you do a pick or would you prefer a player for Barrett?Well you can't have Steele. Simple as that.
Barrett? Maybe - he's in the Miles, Whiley, Townsend bracket - too good for NEAFL can't crack the seniors. Would entertain a trade to get him a game somewhere.
Pick, more likely. We need to reduce the main list size by 4 over the next 3 years. Only take a player if he filled a specific and needed role for us, but don't think there's really a Port player that fits that mould for us.would you do a pick or would you prefer a player for Barrett?
neither! hahaPick, more likely. We need to reduce the main list size by 4 over the next 3 years. Only take a player if he filled a specific and needed role for us, but don't think there's really a Port player that fits that mould for us.
Second rounder for a kid who has had a few years in the system and is only not playing because of the absolute a-graders that are in front of him is about fair I reckon.neither! haha
so a 3rd or 4th rounder?
i think a 2nd would be pushing it a bit TBH
i dont know much about him, but why would he be a better fit for the Crows? In all honesty Adelaide would be a good fit for him and if he wanted to get there 2017 second rounder would probably see it done, a-la Hampton to the Crows.
