Pretty sure any trade will involve Richmond paying a proportion of his wage

That's a ridiculous assertation and in no way what I saidIf that's the case let's give Richmond pick 2 for a 30 year old who's best day's are over next year isn't everything.

U raised some relevant issues in regards to kids being pushed out due to lack of opportunity. But if they can't push out the 30 year old has been with injury issues (as some have portrayed him) those same kids won't be hugely missedYou said the pick we use is not relevant I say it is for a 30 year old. The only way this trade makes any sense is the club have been told of the (rumoured) Whitfield suspension.
Either way it is what it is the club will do what it wants.
And of course I assume u jest when suggesting pick 2 is on the table for this
I'm also starting to love the idea. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Deledio joining us. A definite first 22 player. If the younger mids aren't happy with it, they need to up their game, more determination and more hunger to take someone else's spot. We are a team in a premiership window, every player should be wanting to be in the team to be there on grand final day should we make it.

Anybody know what number he'll get?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We'll lose Hopper or Bam Bam at the end of next season

Injuries always make/ break a best 22.
Agreed - elite utility. He won't be a full time midfielder anyway, he'll likely spent most of his time floating between the half forward and half back line.
I seriously doubt itWe'll lose Hopper or Bam Bam at the end of next season
Hopefully Sauce isn't too concerned ... given that Carlton took him last year.So some nervous waiting over next 20 hours or so with:
Phillips
yet to finalise a deal and/or find a new home officially. Have I forgotten anyone?
Not out of the question. Look at Steele - could say that Griffen was the blockage (with 2 years of contract left) that caused him to jump. Bam Bam the more likely casualty - he's the one I had pencilled in for the 7th forward spot (midfield relief). That's the fear - plus that we blow a high pick on what should be 10-12 year investment on a 2 year get-rich-quick buy.I seriously doubt it

You mean Dawson Simpson or Tom Downie (both OOC) I presume.
Add Tim Mohr also.

If - big if - 33 becomes available that would be nice touch.Anybody know what number he'll get?
