So overall we've gone Marchbank for Deledio. Picks around the place, a few others out. Is that all that bad?

I'm thinking/hoping the same.Future first and third for Lids?
Surely that means they are fronting a fair chunk of his cap?
In retrospect, eh... it would've been 16 and 55 on this year's draft. 55 is a bit of nothing.
I feel cruel for being so happy about the Palmer trade.

Not sure if this is updated completely but it will be interesting to see what the points total is and also the available list spots to see how many players can be drafted in
And say perryman and setterfield go in the top 10 how many points would that leave us with including discounts?3497 points, FWIW, not counting pick 2.

Here are the record-holders for the lowest value trades (we’ve only included straight swaps for draft picks):
Pick 123: Liam Pickering, Darren Steele, Leigh Tudor traded from North Melbourne to Geelong (1994)
I don't think Setterfield will get bid on in the top 5, nor Perryman in the top 10.
Added bonuses to us for making the AFL expand http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-10-20/indicative-2016-afl-draft-order out to the eighth round.
So your feeling better now about our trading? My maths has us picks: 2, 15, 37, 39, 45, 52, 55, 57, 58, 59 & 60. That's 6,014 points!! Take out pick 2 and we will have enough (even after my panic) Now it's up 2 Essendon do they pick Setterfield at 1? if so I say we won't match and happily grab who we want at pick 2.
I suspect Essendon won't bid but either way we are in good nick.
Hang on, isn't the future first Geelongs that was swapped anyway ?Yep way overs smacks of Richmond people doing the best deal for Richmond

Additional note:
We have eleven picks worth points, with up to 12 list spots now. We could re-sign one player without impacting upon our draft positioning. That is a lot of spots to fill though.
As we are back to the standard AFL list size which from memory is
38-40 Main list
4-6 Rookie
Max of 44
From the contracts thread
33 Main list
3 Rookie
Including the 4 OOC
Simpson, Barrett, Downie and Mohr. Any of these candidates for delisting or moving onto the rookie list?
