I'm not denying that there are some players that we can give up on.

Players like Matthew Watson and Robert Warnock who have had plenty of chances to prove themselves had lost my faith.

When we recruited Liam Jones, I wasn't impressed, nevertheless I gave him an opportunity to see whether he would be good for us, and despite the team's poor performances, he was rarely doing damage on the scoreboard. And him being a forward says that he is not working hard enough.

He wasn't alone. Consider, many would be content to see the back of Henderson (16 goals from 16 matches), Menzel (13 from 14) and Watson (4 from 4) this off-season.

Liam does need to lift his intensity but at least this pre-season the coach won't be effusive in praising the "competitive beast".

Cam Wood, Liam Jones, Dennis Arnfield and Simon White will be delisted.

Thats 7 spots to replace. We dont really have much left to trade unless Gibbs or Murphy want out, so hopefully snag a free agent.

In terms of draft picks we would be short priced to finish last and i reckon if we are last again the AFL might just do the right thing and give us a priority pick so coukd go into the draft with picks 1&2.

Cutting through 3 contracts there. Jamo, White & Jones all contracted for 2017 but I could see Jones being under the pump, or at least look at a rookie downgrade (salary cap concessions).

Rowe, Tutt, Armfield and the host of the later 2014 draftees along with Dick & Whiley will be under pressure to remain on the list. Simmo should be right if he wants another year. Would like to know Sheehan's new contract status.

not sure about last, not concerned about it if the signs are right but i cant see the afl giving anyone (established maybe GC or GWS) the 1&2 picks

I find the idea of trading Gibbs appealing, if we can get another top 5 pick, or say Tomlinson and GWS's first pick.
Gotta take a ruthless approach to list management now.

Way I see it, if players are no longer loyal to clubs, than it should be a two way street.

Also Gibbs isn't worth the coin he's (rumoured to be) earning, want us to clear the decks and try make a massive play for Jesse Hogan when he comes our of contact at the end of 2017.

It has become clear that the people who count at CFC appreciate White's qualities a lot more than most supporters do!!
