His knees are shot mate, and he wants too much money ... He isn't the type of player we will be chasing after and offering any player a 6-8 year backended deal is irresponsible list management.
as i said if they are he isn't worth it. if fit he is a gun. decision for sos.

Great pickup. I am really not sold on him, I hope I am wrong and it's weird in his first game against Richmond I thought he showed a bit in the first half however it has been all downhill. This trade (along with Whiley and BB) is really not looking good.

Calm down Jaksch is still only 21.
Feels like he's got a quota to fill before he gets selection.
Will start worrying if he hasn't been promoted by the end of the year.

I am finding it hard to understand why you think Sicily is a key position player.
Think that KJ not getting a gig isn't the worst move in the world.
Bolton's made Jones play some consistent footy in the 2's, before he considered him for selection.
Think Bolton will want KJ's form to demand selection. Can't see Bolts giving him a gig just for the sake of it.

Prestia's best footy, admittedly before injury, was as good as any young mid in the comp.
Crouch, who i'm a big fan of - is yet to live up to the early expectations of him.

Prestia will be a waste of early pick to get him over. I say work some magic to get 2 top 10 picks and spend them both on the best mids we can get.

Yeah I don't get the Prestia love in myself, if we had two top 10 picks (which would be great, but seems unlikely) I would be happy to spend it on one gun speedy mid, and one KPF (if possible) ...

He's definitely got potential to be top shelf, he's as good an underage player as I've seen it just hasnt translated as yet.
If Sos and co feel like they can tap into his potential so be it.

Interesting if the season ended now we wouldn't have a top ten pick
I don't advocate tanking when you've got a coach whose doing so well but the question must be asked how do we get the prime picks we need to boost our list of the talent it lacks?
I suppose we will likely not win the next two and really all things considered we will probably end up with a pick around 8-10
But we still need more top 20 picks
Cas surely would not be traded now assuming he asks for a fair deal to stay on
Dre wouldn't be worth much in a trade
What would Jaksch fetch us if anything ??

You don't have to be Dr Peter Larkins to make an educated guess that his knees are buggered. I don't even know when he'll be back for The Suns this season.
Any club that takes a punt on him is taking a massive gamble, one that our footy club simply can't afford to take.
