Playing forward jsnt enough for me to drop him.. in the end I will say that it was mainly funds. I dont think you have anything to worry about. Dogs just smashed them. Same with Pendles and Collingwood. Even if they had 30 touches and were best on ground for their respective sides they would have only got 105-115. It just wasnt their day because it wasn't their teams day.

Treloar got 125. Just sayin'

Pogba Bont2Boyd how did you guys assess Bont's game? Was expecting a slow start but 110 from only 20 possies was pretty impressive. Imagine what he will score once he's up and going!
He never really appeared to have gotten out of second gear all day. Still has plenty of scope to improve on his R1 output.

Ended up going with a midfield of -

Ablett, Rockcliff, Fyfe, Dangerfield, Libba, B.Crouch, Oliver, Mills (Menadue, Gresham, Davis)

Pretty stock standard really.

Should have gone with a Priddis or Ward in there instead of Fyfe. :rainbow:

Nah, Fyfe will have both of those guys well and truly covered over 22 rounds. Gun midfield with a handy DPP. Well played. :thumbsu:

My final midfield ended up as Fyfe, Danger, Pendles, Ablett, Selwood, Rocky, Libba, Mills (Gresham, Hewett, Davis)

Didn't like the mid rookies this year. All the DPP rookies are in the forward line but that'll be switched around a bit when I start upgrading/downgrading. Took a risk and picked 7 guys I thought were keepers.

My issue with 7 keepers is no scope to move

Ward, Priddis, sloane, treloar, beams

So many options who may perform and your scope to bring them in is zip

If they're keepers, there won't be a need to move, would be my counter-point to that. If there was one more mid rookie who was 'must have' or if guys like Titch, Bont and Gray were still forwards, I would of run with one less mid.

Farrrrrr out. Must be weak elsewhere. M1-8 is more than 4 million alone based on my rough mathematics.

My Rucks are Goldy and Jacobs, defenders pretty standard, 3 + Weiters, forwards are sparse though. Barlow and Hall my "premos". However Wells, BenKen, Papley, Kerridge and Menadue will hopefully continue to hold down the fort for a few weeks.

I know its only 2 rounds in but curious to see what people think the Top 10 Mids will look like now, and if the first 2 games has changed anything:

My take:
1. G Ablett
2. N Fyfe
3. P Dangerfield
4. R Gray
5. M Priddis
6. S Pendlebury
7 S Mitchell
8. T Mitchell
9. C Ward
10. T Liberatore

Where's Cripps

Thoughts on Wines?

He averaged 100 in 2014, 97 in 2015 after an injuryriddled year, and he's on 97 now (85 and 101).

What can he average for the year?

I thought he'd take a step up and go 105-110 this season. I know we're only 2 games in but it's not looking promising.

100%. Someone else also said something about having 6 premo defenders which is madness. Someone like Beams could easily be a must have in 12 weeks time. I'm sure he will find himself sideways trading at some point.

Yeah it's not ideal but I'm not going to pass up on Shaw if I can get him under $500k

Another score in 90s for Wines tonight. Disappointing... was looking to bring him in soon, that won't be happening
