Geelong have a tough ask making up 4.6% against Melbourne (if we don't lose percentage)

They'd need a 100-20 sort of scoreline to do it. Alternatively 140-50

Yeah I would've taken 10 goals pre game, especially after how much we pumped them by.

So if we cant leapfrog Sydney, we will need to put on at least 4% against WCE to make it very hard for Geelong to catch us.

So, it's all come down to a home game vs West Coast without Nic Nat to claim a Top 2 spot and a home Qualifying Final. We'd rarely get a better opportunity.

Time to get it done, and start the real season.

Was always hoping that Geelong wouldn't double their score. They didn't so I'm very happy with that result. Beat west coast by 30 points and hopefully Melbourne don't lie down and we'll be fine.

We really need some formula 1 footy from the Crows on Friday night, none of this missing in front of goal shit. Really need to dominate and restrict their scoring. Need to kill the contest early by pumping goals.

Given that the final round fixture wasn't set until a month or so ago, why is it that the AFL gave us two six day breaks in a row? Was it because we said we wouldn't play Monday night?

100-99 for us, and then Geelong 120-60, would see them surpass us.

Any result better than that against West Coast makes it tougher for Geelong. Winning by 100-70 sees our percentage remain the same, and then Geelong would need a 140-50 victory to beat us.

If Adelaide win 100-99, our percentage is 140.02.
If Geelong win 100-40, their percentage is 140.60.

The loss of Nic Nat will be huge for them. They rely heavily on his output. I think this will certainly stop their scoring potential.
