Sydney's percentage has dropped by 1.7%. Crows only need to beat Port by 22 points more than 146% of Ports score, assuming no more scores in the North / Sydney match.

Nice we might be top tonight even after the swans kick 8 goals to 1 in this final quarter

Yep and we make a suggestion that we might rookie Spencely and it's sanction time.
Plus the AFL want to affiliate TAC cup teams with AFL teams.

Harvey's having some game.

On Hawks manning up on the man on the mark: This needs attention and clarity from the AFL and rules committee. Seems to me that it's legal to stand next to the guy but it's not legal to block him from moving - As long as the ball is not within 5 metres? But the kicker is moving in, may or may not be 5 metres. IMO they should extend the 'protected area' rule to include staying clear of the man on the mark. Just for clarity.

I'm sure they've changed the zone on this.

The current diagram shows a 10 metre zone that looks like the old Play School arch window - the base running through where the man on the mark is standing.

So you can't line up in front of, or next to the man on the mark, but you can stand just behind him - and then pick him off as soon as the ump says play on.

A couple of years ago, you couldn't line up there, like you suggest. There was a little run of players getting taken out while standing the mark, and you'd think that in a more concussion aware era you'd want a way to avoid unprotected players getting crunched.
