They reckon Gold Coast will trade it for him.
There goes port's pick 6 for Hartlett.

It's the abba principle. Money Money MoneyInteresting that basket case clubs are getting headline stars to nominate their club.
Isn't this just the soft core version of Debbie does Tipettgate? This "I nominate"crap is doing my head in, may as well abolish the draft and then just let the kids "nominate" their club of choice
Westhoff as well, but he's ageing. Austin broken leg hasn't he? Shouldn't be too bad but may interrupt his pre season.

Article states they want Adelaide as they expect South Aussies would be keen to drive there for the game. Why do they want to play us there? Is that Pannell's hometown?
To be fair, the seasons of both Richmond and Gold Coast are already over. Also, surely this kind of shit should wait until the season is actually over???
But when a mediocre or crappy club pays an A-grader an inordinate amount of money to come, it almost never, ever results in a premiership. It's like putting a powerful supercharger on a Camry and expecting it to win the Clipsal 500. The acquisition of that player becomes almost entirely meaningless. Those 3 have entered an AFL team where their only role models are those that have jumped ships for piles of cash. It's hardly surprising that they have learned that money is king and are using that, rather than success, to make their decisions.
Giving the kid WAY too much favorable assumptions there. He was hiding from the Illicit drug test, not performance enhancing for a start which rules out your migraine theory. Furthermore illicit drugs have a 3 strike policy so unless he has already used up his first 2 strikes there'd be no reason to panic, if he HAS used up his first 2 strikes on illicit drugs then it's probably not migraine medication that concerns him.

But then again, meanwhile at Kardinia Park...
More likely Dixon, Westoff, Ryder, Trengove, Austin... with Lobbe off the bench & Hombsch the 3rd tall defender.Howard out for at least the first half of next year.
Rd 1 spine is Dixon, Ryder, Lobbe, Hombsch, Austin?
Not really that bad but wouldn't want an injury.
Pain killers are often illicit drugs, or at least share a lot of key ingredients.
Port is my tip
Butcher delisted (surely) and no Schulz.
You know it makes sense.
It's an oxymoron! The AFL Integrity Unit would be a fantastic one for the Working Dog team to do a mockumentary on.
IMO, it's because they have had the wrong people running the AFL since Wayne Jackson left.At the end of the day you realise that the AFL is such an immature competition in comparison to the likes of the big national sporting leagues around the world.
From drug policies to tinkering and interpretation of rules.

Mysterious deaths of administrators in hotel rooms.Would have it all
Sport, administrators, money, sex, drugs, incompetence, religious fervour, lawyers, egos, generational hatred..
IMO, it's because they have had the wrong people running the AFL since Wayne Jackson left.
ie. Those more interested in looking good, rather than having the game's best interests at heart.
They both have been over for most of the season...To be fair, the seasons of both Richmond and Gold Coast are already over.

I have corrected your postIt's people more Self-interested in the AFL as a business than the AFL as a football league.

Actually, both meet both the can't mark & kick category...So they'll have a power forward who can't mark and a goalkicker who can't kick goals.
Do it PAPs. You know it makes sense.

One wonders what under the table deals are being done.Interesting that basket case clubs are getting headline stars to nominate their club.
It is because the game is small fry compared to real professional sports. There is no real international competition or interest. The game is only popular in three states in a country of 23m people. Is not even the most popular sport in our country's biggest state or fastest growing state.IMO, it's because they have had the wrong people running the AFL since Wayne Jackson left.

Just because the AFL is small by world standards is no excuse for it being run by amateur managers...It is because the game is small fry compared to real professional sports. The admin is insular and incestuous in nature. Which leads to them being amateurish.
