He's really grown on me too. Definitely become a really good player and should be shooting up the re-draft list more and moreFair.
I think ive got a bit of josh fanboy bias.

He and Nic Martin are my favourite 2 wingers in the comp. He's really grown on me too. Definitely become a really good player and should be shooting up the re-draft list more and more
Especially with Gawn injured, English could very well finish the year as AA ruck. Certainly looks to have surpassed Darcy from this draft.
Darcy isn't the only competition.Especially with Gawn injured, English could very well finish the year as AA ruck. Certainly looks to have surpassed Darcy from this draft.
McGrath in his natural position is playing very good, even great.
An underwhelming top 10 imo but the bottom end of this draft had some gems.Ratugolea now adding to what has been just a ridiculous 2016 draft, as a current Best 22-26 player:
Pick 26: Brandan Parfitt
Pick 40: Tom Stewart
Pick 43: Esava Ratugolea
Rookie Pick 16: Jack Henry
Rookie Pick 33: Zach Guthrie
Cat. B Rookie: Mark O'Connor
Add in Tuohy as a trade in, and we have a 3rd of our current side coming from the one year - and not one Top 20 pick amongst them.
Phew. Just incredible talent identification.
The bar has been set really low for McGrath if you are saying he is playing great football.McGrath in his natural position is playing very good, even great.
Keep watching him, mans playing very good. The bar has been set really low for McGrath if you are saying he is playing great football.

What arbitrary scale do you base best players off? Can you have 8 in your best players or is it only those who make the coaches votes? In 5 games he has been in your best players once. If that is considered great footy then as above the bar is really low for McGrath.
Keep watching him, mans playing very good.
Still wouldn't even crack Top 10 in this draft, IMO.

I think McGrath has been in our best players every week.
Who made those lists and why do you believe they're gospel? We all have our favs that we watch through rose coloured glasses.

Match report from the AFL.Who made those lists and why do you believe they're gospel?
Taranto is much better.McGrath is a good player. But there was no obvious number 1 at the time so it's not surprising that McGrath isn't a dominant player. He's arguably the 2nd best player of the top 10 behind McCluggage so it's not a horrible pick.
And if you'd said to Essendon they would get McGrath, Ridley and Draper from this draft they would've been very happy with that.
