They currently have 7258 points. Trade pick 1 for 4 and 9 they still have 3755 points after pick 1. Bowes gets bid on with pick 2. They use 2013 points to cover it. Unless Scheer is bid on with literally the next pick, they will have the points to cover it. If they bid on someone like Setterfield or Macreadie with pick 1, they will have enough points banked away for Bowes and Scheer.if they traded away both pick 4 and 9 or whatever they are then no.
That leaves them with a bunch of second round picks.
If they want to make an offer for pick one it would be either pick 4 + 2nd rounder , pick 9 + player. Zero chance of getting both early picks off them unless you included more picks for points with that number one pick. Which could be possible.
