I don't understand equalisation, we aren't exactly financially stable. Yet we pay equilisation tax and lose our home game against the pies, play 2 of our prime time games against the suns and miss out on good friday football. Lost patience with the AFL. They'll do their best to keep the sydney clubs at the top whilst hiding behind 'equalisation' what a load of bull shit.

Brisbane in July - here we come.

It's a good time of the year to escape the cold of Melbourne for a few days.
I am looking at that game or the Metricon game for an interstate trip as well as the SCG in round 23, I have missed the the final game of the season the season this year and last year and I am dammed if I will miss it 3 years in a row!!!!

Anyone know when the NAB challenge fixture is released?

Very happy that 8/10 first games before round 11 bye is against non-finalists. 1 of which is north and you'd think Sydney will go down a bit after losing Mitchell. 3/10 are bottom 4 sides unlikely to change much and you could debate that north could join them with their losses.

Expect a similar finish with Sydney, west coast and hawthorn. We do play better against these sides, proven in 2016, and could finish strongly.

Disappointed only 1 game in NSW/ACT, final game of the year as well after a very tough end of season draw.

Never seen wooden spooners so confident. The * board is so rapped with the draw they're pencilling in top 4, maybe a premiership. Starting 4-1 beating Hawks Carlton Coll ect. I really don't think their older players that couldn't play 2 years ago are going to have a positive impact. Doubling up against Carlton and Collingwood for 4-0 they're all locking in. **** I hate these smug bastards. Bring on round 3 already.

The only team that is a lock win is Brisbane and we only get them once. Annoying.

After Brisbane, everything else is either hard or we are 50/50. Maybe North and Bombers are the next weakest. Of course we will win games based on surprise, short turnaround breaks etc.

The interstate teams we could steal a win against - we are away (Port/Freo/WCE). The interstate teams we cant beat, we are home (GWS).

Tigers had a down year. Their trade period was excellent, Prestia, Caddy and Naismith. The latter really plugs a weak hole as Hampson has brick hands and no game sense. I expect the Tigers to surprise and challenge for the 8.

Surely the action can be sent by cable & be simulated in a studio ala Alan McGilvray & Victor Richardson.

Harsh but probably true about the death bit.
If you drove, at very least your car would be altered significantly by some of Adelaide's finest.
Stay home MEB and enjoy it while we paste them on their home dung hill.
