I still think SOS stuffed up not getting us the Top 4 picks in this years draft. It would solve so many issues

We would have still argued over which order to pick them in.....

There is some talk of Murphy being a bolter and we can hope Hine decides to go off Knightmares power rankings and takes Balta at 6

1. Pick #10, 2. Kennedy, 3. an upgrade from 40 to 30 and 4. The Dogs second rounder next year, for Gibbs. Not bad.

I feel that we'll get 2 players at #3 & #10 that will be ready to go come round 1 next year.
One will be a forward and one will be a pure mid.

e.g. .....1: Rayner - Brayshaw/Clark/Constable
...........2: Dow/Cerra - Fogarty/Higgins

I think we are all overanalysing and going in circles for me I’m still stuck on Rayner closely followed by Cerra, Rayners body of work over the season and his ability to kick powerful goals.

Realistically it could even be Clark and Coffield to Stk and Murphy to WB. We then have a choice of Fogarty and Stephenson, how crazy would that be?

"I admire his work ethic, but I'd much rather see us take Coffield or Clark here."

I suppose it comes down to who you rate higher. I rate Clark in the top 10 but Higgins I have as the 6th best in the draft.
His forward smarts will also suit Carlton quite well.

Would have no complaints with Crossley there - I like the look of him and would have thought he'd be off the board by that pick.

Yeah don't think he'll slide this far.
You have a few ruckmen on your list but not one in this age bracket and if Coleman-Jones or Crossley get this far you should take them.

This either makes him more appealing or makes an LDU or Rayner slide more likely. Whatever the outcome, I like the potential of pick 3 this year. We get a jet of a mid: Dow or LDU, or X factor in Rayner. Happy days.

2010 to 2014 pick 3 and 10 had one hit and one miss, players like sumner, freeman at 10 doesn't look very good in hindsight.

2014 - Brayshaw and cockatoo
2015 - mills and McKay
2016 - mccluggage and Bowes
2017 - ??

The last three years lookpretty good at this stage. I'd take any of the last few years 3 and 10 draft picks this month. Keen for Cerra and Fogarty.
