Sooooo he did his ACL after he was drafted?Christian Petracca? Although a little different because he did it after he was drafted but it was in his first pre season and wiped out his entire debut season. He's recovered fine as well.

Same, same!I can remember watching this and having a little vomit in my mouth. Having had my fair share of knee injuries I struggle watch replays when guys go down with a knee injury.
He want to be the number 2 pick, so he can be picked up by the Lions. No Paddy Dow this weekend.
Not sure why he's out.

He is a capable goal kicker so with his pace I think he could start out in the forward line applying manic defensive pressure and crumbing a few goals. I wouldn't mind him spending a fair bit of time developing his game in the NEAFL though. If he only played 5 or so games in his first season I'd be fine with that.Very nice evasiveness. Could he start playing forward or back? Like McCluggage he'll need a couple of years to bulk up.
Flatten out those kicks, son

Rest son, rest.According to AFL.com .......Shoulder injury .... worst case - done for the season .... best case - back for All Stars game
I hear he was weak shoulders. If I was an opposition team I wouldn't draft him.
It's black and his teeth are white so that indicates Collingwood. What colour mouth guard does he wear though?
It's actually blue and white, a la North Melbourne. What colour mouth guard does he wear though?
Can't see GWS going for Rayner for the same reasons we wouldn't go after himI hope either GWS or Tigers get pick 1 from North... could see both going for Rayner more so than Dow.
I will cape for Campbell Walker too. He's caught my eye in quite a few of our NEAFL games this year that I've seen. Seems to win at least one holding the ball free kick every game and lays plenty of other tackles around the ground, and he looks like he offers more inside than a Grewar-type; not afraid of winning a hard ball. Think he could be an option to be upgrade from Blake. I'll always stand up for a bloke who cracks in and does the hard work like Campbell. Matt Eagles is another one like that for me.Ballenden has played back in the twos as much as forward. Took a nice intercept mark in the last quarter on Saturday when the game was up for grabs.
But actually I came to this thread to post about our academy player Campbell Walker who was everywhere in the last quarter, which I just watched again. Out marks Mzungu and goals, sets up another goal, tackles a number of times, spoils and just runs out the game with so much hustle and effort. He's been in the bests the last couple of weeks and I really hope we have a serious look at him for a rookie spot. Could develop into a small forward who can take a contested mark and apply pressure. Did his ACL in his draft year I believe, and now really looks better than most of our other mid-sized rookies like Grewar, Hanley and William. That last quarter is also worth watching for a spirited comeback, Eagles in the ruck, McInenrney up forward, great defence from Dawson and midfield dash from Bewick. NEAFL you tube.
I could actually see North going for him aswell.I hope either GWS or Tigers get pick 1 from North... could see both going for Rayner more so than Dow.
