The improving team that's actually a worry is Freo, who we got twice. They could add Fyfe, Sandilands, Bennel, Hill, McArthy, Hamling from last year.

So looking at the fixture from a business/exposure point of view (because who knows how any team will go next year and also Richmond is business first football second ) Richmond have their 4 Blockbusters by round 10 with 3 of them by round 5. I classed Round 1 and 2 as Blockbusters as Richmond again get to open the year off, Round 2 is Thursday night vs the Pies before Good Friday and have a Monday night against Melbourne ANZAC Day Eve. Of course that also includes the Dreamtime game.

A few poo weekends, but just as many Saturday nights. So all in all an ok draw from a TV exposure point of view. Should mean the Club should have no trouble getting in sponsorship......

6 interstate trips plus geelong, looks like a downgrade on the home and away membership to only a home membership for me.

Already play St Kilda, Dogs and lolnorf at Etihad. They would never ever schedule us to play Carlton or Essendon there and lock out 10-20,000 so who else is there to play there? There aren't any other Etihad tenant clubs to play there.

Make no mistake, we get shafted every time we play an interstate side there.
